Thank you for your feedback. We use only official Sony shells, though
we do paint them. This is so that the controller feels just as great
as an original Sony controller. We do apologize if you are not happy
with the texture of the shell, we would recommend the Blue Urban
controller if you are looking for something with a matte-textured

I will admit the programming features arent exactly pick it up and run with it easy - but with a little bit of use and a dab of aptitude (Plus keeping a print out of the different programming features on the table in front of you) its fairly straight forward. I was having a great time in some co-op wave based fighting. Cant seem to find any info anywhere if I should do the Xbox controller update with this modded controller or if that will ruin it. (I keep getting reminded by the Xbox to update the controller) Besides that my main gripe is this. It arrived broken. The left side strap on the controller wasn't fully clipped in and there was chipping on the hydrodipping images PLUS there are 4-5 places on the controller that arent smoth it feels like therre is sand or grit in the coating. Its not the end of the world but the finish was chipped and its not actually smooth for $140 (after tax) I expect everything to be perfect. I've called the # the guy posted on the other reviews it always goes to a voice mail box. So I left my info hope they decide to service me before I just return it and move on.
