So now we wonder why we gave up DirecTV and dish for a streaming service that is annoying.

However, some services offer a way to avoid ads by subscribing to a no-ads plan from a specific streaming provider. In the meantime, you can manage the ads on your Roku player. Roku Remote

However, I find that the material it is made of is very slick and it slips easily out of my hand. I would have given it 5 stars had it not been so slippery.
