We received a Roku Sound Bar two years ago as a Christmas gift, and honestly, I'm not sure it ever worked properly............. we could get TV channels, but the sound was horrible. With this the TV sound is great, and we can still our favorite shows!

Posted .Hi Carla, thank you for your feedback and for sharing your thoughts. What version of the OS is your device running? If you turn the TV off while the Roku is streaming, the Roku does not automatically stop. The streaming content can turn your TV back on (it's something that can happen via the CEC protocol). So, by always going to the home screen, you stop any streaming, and the Roku won't send a signal to the TV to power back on. You can also try to update the software by going to Settings > System > Software update.
