    I give it a 4.5 rating. Used Roku for years and just purchased a new device. There are now many great new features, including voice recognition to search. The only thing that is slightly off is the fast-forward and reverse "button." It is difficult to precisely control it frame by frame and the device leaps forward and backward. But maybe it just takes getting used to a new device. We're learning. Otherwise, I think the Roku family is perfect for our household.

    Easy to install and always very responsive. However, for some reason Samson remote had a hard time connecting after I first installed it, but the connectivity progressively improved over time.

    Only problems with this it breaks easily , control buttons after 2 months of using hard to push it to move the arrow for selections and most of all eats lots of batteries. We change batteries twice a month and we use energizer batteries.

    Overall a great value for what it costs. The apps perform much better than those on my older "smart" TV and navigation is faster. This was very useful in "cutting the cord" from my TV provider. There was a couple of occasions when the remote just stopped working and I needed to pull the batteries to get it working again.

    Works really well since I cut cable and am streaming TV through internet. I wish the buttons were programable since I don't have Hulu or Apple TV.

    Great device for an old tv that’s not a smart tv!! Without needing to buy one you could easily plug this to an old tv and make it new!!
