I like being able to stream my various subscriptions on my TV -- without using the Amazon device (I don't like their privacy policies). It is very reliable and very intuitive.

A plus was it also improved the audio & video quality of 2008 TV, far superior to using the cable box. So impressed bought another for a friend.

We use one of these at our Florida home too. This even controls the volume along with channels. Just add apps you might want, but try the FREE items first
