This review is for the manufacturer rather than the product. The player itself is very good. However, this purchase was a replacement for a player that was less than 6 months old that failed. It took many hours of research just to determine the correct Roku RMA procedure. After I finally was able to contact Roku via Twitter, it took 6 weeks and countless tweets and emails to get Roku to provide the return instructions! I had to pay return shipping for a player under warranty! And since Roku would not send the replacement until they received the failed unit, that added another 10 days to the total of just under 2 months. This purchase was for a temporary replacement during the return process. I was planning to return it once I received the RMA replacement, but now I am keeping it as a spare in case one of my other players also fails. Beware the Roku Customer Service and Warranty !!!!

I have a variety of Roku devices but this one doesn’t like to stay connected to my WiFi. Weird because the same model in the other room is no issues (and is further away from router)

Got it to for a holiday party to use where I didn't have Cable connectivity in my house. Worked Great

Pretty simple: it works. The fact it works well in a location relatively far from my router is a bonus.

It’s alright. I guess I expected more. Everything pretty much needs a subscription.

Runs Hot! It's a small box, and has two connection ports. One is an HDMI the other is for power. HDMI is a connection used in most, well, all modern TVs. If you take a look at the photos, you will see how well I described the outer surface of the product. Happy overall.

Responsive menus, voice options works well. For the money this unit is hard to beat for most people.

This is a basic streaming device. I like this one over other streaming devices.

Easy to install. All I had to do was sign in and everything app I had on my old one was downloaded.

These Roku devices work just fine, till they don't. I always purchase the warranty and they seem to die within the first two years of use. Lost count how many I've gone through in the last few years, but having that extended warranty guarantees I always get a new one for free! I currently own 5 of them.

Love Roku and have many TVs connected. This one didn't pair and reviewing multiple blogs this particular model has this issue. It will be returned. Also, still as Rdio as separate button but this is no longer available. Prefer a backlight too.

The box came from Electronic Express with a note attached stating missing accessories HDMI CORD and POWER BRICK. Open box 5% off, all sales final, no returns. I was still charged full price plus taxes. I’m stuck with a partial product.

Really pleaaed with Roku and all the viewing options it provides. It is easy to set up and use.

It works but it was a pain to go through all the steps to set it up.

I'm really enjoying it. All the different options and streaming channels. But there is one glitch. The sound mutes for a few seconds, several times while watching anything. I would have given a 5 star if it weren't for that.
