    remote is NOT user friendly. "MUTE" button DEFINITLY needs to be on opposite side of remote. Workes okay.

    Buggy and freezes

    It would be fine if it didn’t freeze and apps refused to load when you turn the system on. I have to restart the Roku 2-3 times before it works properly.

    I gave it a "2" not because it doesn't work well, but because it only gives you the opportunity to only buy and use their own apps. I cannot access apps that I already paid for. I can only pay again if I want to use that app.

      Also, if you are pertaining to the streaming app, the Roku channel is free to access unless the content/movie or channel requires a subscription. For example, you may not be able to access the Paramount app if you don't have a subscription. You can get a subscription through the channel provider or Roku.     The volume button on the side is going crazy. When you push the volume down it goes all the way up first. Haven’t had time to bring it back to the store.

    Don't have a monthly rental fee like a cable box,

    Nice compact alternative to a cable nox, plus not paying a rental fee every month. Sometimes has a little connection glitch when changing between apps, screen will freeze but sound continues. Just gently unplug the hdmi cable from back of Roku for a second and then plug it back in. All is good again.

    I asked my wife to pick o Up a Roku stick. Minot store was out so she purchased Roku express This was a gift for our grandson and when i discovered the error I tried to return and was told I could not unless I purchased a $50 membership I have purchased my last item a Best Buy

    Can only use remote for the box itself not for the whole tv. Little box is awkward seating even with velcro

    This is the first device like this I’ve tried. My biggest issue is that it no longer tuns on with the remote unless I unplug the device and plug it back in.

    Keeps dropping Wireless Network Connection

    Since the day i installed this in my Man-Room 2 weeks ago, it keeps randomly losing connection to my wireless network. When i go into the menu to and scan for networks, it fails to connect to my Network or shows No Internet even though my Network and Internet are working fine and my Modem, Laptop, Cell Phone, Tivo, & PC all in the same room are all connected. We also have an older Roku Premiere + in the Wife-Den a few rooms away and it always has a rock-solid connection to my Network even through 3 walls. It's just this new Roku Express 4K that is having a problem staying connected. I do have the Bandwidth Saver setting turned Off. When i go into the settings and try to get it to connect it almost always fails then i have to Restart the Device whereupon it will finally connect. Sometimes it will stay connected for several days then the next day it is not. The wife would never be able to figure out how to get this one to connect to the Network so i won't be moving it into her den which was my original plan.

      If your router and Roku device both support 5GHz, you could also try connecting to the 5GHz wireless network for improved network strength.     Worked well for the first few days, but then began cutting out and malfunctioning. Device was defective, and had to returned it.

    This is my first buy of a Roku production and This is definitely worth the money. Very easy install in less than 5 mins. Best feature is the search feature which searches across all your subscriptions and beyond so it is very easy to see where your favorite movie of TV show is streaming.

    I needed a roku device for my office. Honestly I picked this one because it was the only one in stock in my store, but turns out I like it. It's very responsive and even comes with command strips to affix it to the back of the tv if desired. I chose not to do that but it's a nice option.
