    Constant daily re-boot required

    Unplug & plug in again EVERY DAY you use it! Roku does NOT offer solution to this problem for at least 2 years. If you keep your TV on 24/7, it will work! Otherwise, after a certain number of hours, it turns off and must be re-started. DON'T BUY!!

    Terrible device do not purchase, you can not connect your volume from your tv to it, even though I followed the directions. Also ever I used my room for my fan it would turn my tv on / off To much interference POOR DESIGN

    Works flawlessly made my TV look new , It's a 5 year old TV and now it looks crisp All the apps and great free TV channels nice set up nice menu you can change a lot of settings you can fully customize this device super smooth very fast , remote controls both TV and the Roku device love the side buttons so you know where to go right away for volume while laying in the dark in on the bed .

    Roku was extremely difficult to use and did not get the channels needed. I returned these units after a few days. The firestick is a far superior product. Returned these.

    I already have a Roku Premier that works great and gets 5 stars. This one simply fails after watching one video and needs to be rebooted. I will be attempting to return it; I hope it is just a lemon in the manufacturing run.

    Not impressed at all! It was suggested by the Spectrum salesman to purchase this, which I did. It “buffers” on me every night; consequently, I have no picture. Very frustrating!!

    Compared to the older models that I've had this was not worth the buy. It would not stay connected to wifi, it would freeze so bad continuously, and I had to constantly restart the device.

    Began malfunctioning after 6 weeks. Constantly loses video and audio output. Has to be rebooted every time the TV is turned on and every time the device wakes from sleep. I have to reboot the device several times a day. Really sorry I bought this.

    Remote wireless will not Pair on initial setup

    After numerous attempts including resets on the main unit, batteries removed and reinserted, pushing the button for 5 seconds, blinking green light on the remote, the initial setup will NOT pair the remote with the main unit. Garbage waste of time.

    worked just fine until it locked up on me. tried every reboot, reset, trick to get it to work again. nothing loading but the bouncing roku logo. no longer returnable to best buy. stuck having to buy another one

      Hi there, thanks for taking a few moments to share these details with us. It sounds like you've tried multiple troubleshooting options and the outcome does not sound like typical behavior.

      When trying to perform a factory reset on the Roku device, please make sure that you hold down the reset button for at least 30 seconds regardless of what is happening on the screen. In addition, we highly recommend making sure that the device is plugged into a wall outlet and not powered by the TV USB port. You may also want to try utilizing a different HDMI port to see if that makes a difference.

      We always suggest using the included power cord, power adapter, and premium high speed HDMI cable from Roku for the best end experience.

    The remote does not work. I tried the batteries that came with it and I tried a second set of batteries, still would not work. I normally would recommend roku, but not on this purchase.

    Purchase was fine BUT the delivery/install part was a nightmare. Maybe not the fault of Best Buy but you contract with the service provider so you should be aware of their issues and make the appropriate corrections.
