    SUCKS! not enough power from extension cord told to use wall outlet. Gimme a break! Make a power cord on the Roku that is effective!!!!! I have a TCL-Roku TV so it is not biased criticism.

      Hello, this is certainly not the kind of experience we'd hope for you to have and we're here to help!

      First, always be sure to use the HDMI cable and power cord cable that came included with your player as not all cables are created equally.

      The Roku Express 4K+ is designed to work work with any television with an HDMI connection. If you haven't already tried multiple HDMI ports on the TV, we'd also recommend trying a different TV in an attempt to isolate the issue.

    Technician installed. Was going to return on Wednesday to explain how to use it. Have not heard from him since. No choice but return to store for refund. I have your Electronic Support insurance.

    We bought another Roku because our old one kept shutting off and rebooting. As soon as this was out of its return period, the same thing started happening. I’m tired of the junk they out out.

    Yeah, no. Used to be a Roku fan but they’ve gone downhill on quality. Switched to Apple TV and haven’t been happier

    Small window and orange tint

    Everything seemed fine, then I kept getting a weird small window for EVERY app. Then there was a weird orange outline on faces and light image areas. changed HDMI w/ no luck.

      Hi there, this does not sound like expected behavior and we are here to help.

      We'd recommend trying a different TV to see if the behavior continues. Additionally, the device can be plugged into your TV's USB port for power or a wall outlet. If you're currently using the TV as your power source, try plugging the device into a wall outlet instead.

      Lastly, please check for the latest update under your Settings menu to ensure that you are on the newest software version. Once updated, be sure to restart your device.

    I purchased this so I could stream YouTube Live TV only to find that this service was unavailable on Roku, apparently because of a dispute between the parties. I returned it.

    The Roku Express streaming media player I purchased was a dud and I returned it for the more expensive Roku Ultra media player.
