If you have a regular TV and want a Roku TV just buy this remote and your TV will be just like a Roku. Just as long as your tv isn't too old because you need a USB and Cable port on your TV. I found this out after much reading. We just cut the cable cord with Comcast but kept the wifi because you need wifi for this to work.

This works very well and there are plenty of free channels you can get. I have several of these and really like the convenience of changing the free providers

This Roku Express 4K works great on my vintage HD Sony TV. When a <competitor's> remote broke, I was happy to replace it with the Roku Express. The competitor's remote did not control the volume, or the on/off button, and it could not load some channels. Just not enough memory. This did the job and it was easy to install.

I purchased this as a replacement for an older Roku device that I had. The setup was very easy and I use it primarily because Roku has some applications that my Smart TV does not.

The Roku Express works just great for watching the tv programs I like best. No more cable expense.

Love the Roku. The Firestick I purchased a while back never did work. I will never get another one of those, but Roku simply works.

With the cost of cable increasing while income doesn't, there had to be a way to still watch our programs. This Roku-Express 4K+ is the answer. It does all it's advertised to do. The voice option is handy to find programs you just can't seem to remember where they were. We've added a couple of streaming services at a cost but nowhere near what the cost of cable television has been. We're quite satisfied with this device.

Recommended by a Best buy rep and I am pleased with it. Also, I got in on sale! Sweet.

Easy to set up, great picture and choice of channels and apps.

First, I do not own any "Smart TV's". But I do have a few older Sony streaming DVD players that include a few apps, but they all are slow to connect and are not able to add newer services. I already own the Roku Streaming Stick 4K (3820R) that preforms very well. And now added this Roku Express 4K+ (3941R2) for another TV replacing the DVD streaming. These Roku devices convert older non-smart TV's into the fully streaming era. Or update older Smart TVs to Smarter TVs Has a few quirks though, primary one being the front light staying on. After researching online, it is a very common issue. Besides putting black tape over the light, there is a workaround that is counter intuitive. In setup, you need to uncheck "Auto-Power Savings", then it will give you a warning that you will be using more power. But it does solve the light always on issue. Appears to be a firmware glitch that Roku doesn't want to correct for this model. Overall, this is an acceptable streaming addition for streaming content and paid services to your TV. And if you are able to obtain on sale, then a very cost-effective solution.

Purchased for small kitchen TV that is not a smart TV, so we made it one. Roku has many options from paid subscriptions to free streaming. Set up was quick, simple, and it immediately updated the software and was ready for use. Very easy to add or delete streaming channels with a user friendly home screen. Haven't used voice remote so I can't comment on that feature, but otherwise a good choice.

Smooth and easy to use. I like the voice option. Better than the Roku remote that came with my TV.

Roku Express works well if you are not into gaming. It is a light streaming media device with voice remote.

Easy to set up, works flawlessly. Located a floor before and a room away from router and we have zero buffering issues.

I love it! I bought it to replace a Chromecast. It’s great that I only have to use one remote for everything - changing streams, volume, mute, on/off. And if I want it can be voice-controlled although I haven’t used that much. Big step forward!

Quite an improvement in picture quality over an earlier model. I am very happy with this purchase and with the ease Best Buy provided in acquiring my new Roku player.
