We don't have or use any of the pay services, just Youtube and the other free content and I love it. I did have a bit of trouble getting my LG TV to accept 4K mode, but I was able to resolve it with a few web searches. We also have another model Roku, but I prefer this as it has a TV volume key on the side (so that you don't have to juggle remotes). Would also recommend installing the Roku app which you can also use as a remote.

Bought this fir my sons room and he loves it. It’s easy to use and the picture is amazing!!!

I have the ultimate roku and its three times as expensive. However, its not three times better so for almost all situations I highly recommend this model as it gives you 90% of the ultimate for 1/3rd the price. Also, Roku search function makes finding movies easy!

Love roku super easy setup great streaming quality as long as you’re WiFi is good but thats not on them it’s your provider, they do however have a stick version that is made for if you’re at a far distance from your modem. Love the price compared to competitors overall awesome.

Liked it so much I bought a 2nd one a couple of days later. My kids love the voice remote and I love that it comes with a piece of removable double sided tape (similar to the 3M Command strips) that can be used to mount it to the TV or wall. Also comes with both a USB C and HDMI cable and a power block to use if your TV doesn't have a USB port or (in my case) the USB port doesn't output enough power to power the ROKU.

So happy I got these….the set up was very very easy.

I love Roku!! This is the only streaming platform I use!!!

Very small, yet responsive. I like Rokus better than other systems because it has everything, and can piggyback a TV. With smart TVs offering their own OS and implementations, it's not the same as you feel shackled to their system and their corporate decisions. Same with other streaming boxes. For example the old AppleTV lost youtube (removed!) because they stopped supporting it.
