    I bought this about a year ago and it worked fine with a nice sharp picture while using it with my Tablo DVR. After about a year it started randomly rebooting maybe about twice per week. I determined that this was defective by substituting another Roku in the system for this one. One complaint I have is that the Mute button is too close to the volume up/down button and sometimes gets activated when I just want to turn the volume down. Fortunately I bought a protection plan, so I am returning this one.

    I love the voice remote aspect of the Roku. The remote definitely needs to be backlit so you can see it with the lights off. If it had the backlighting, I would have rated it excellent in all categories.

    My TV is older so apps weren't working. Bought this instead of a new tv for a fraction of the price. Works great. Only down side is it seems that when you get an app subscription through roku it doesn't work on other tvs if you try to log in to that app

    We wanted an additional cable box for our guestroom but were already at the limit that AT&T imposes. This is the next best thing. Setup was fairly quick and easy and it connects to all of our apps. Definitely a must buy.
