If I leave it on pause for a short time it shuts off. Also, when I first turn it on - it loads and then the screen goes black and I have to hold down the play button and it comes back on. I suppose it’s either operator error or some new “green” scheme to save energy. I don’t live in front of the TV so it doesn’t really matter.

I ordered the item and received it on the same day. I love the Roku because it saved me so much money and also Roku has a lot of channels. I do not miss cable anymore!

It’s the best decision in the long run. Very easy to use not only for the adults but also the children.

I brought it home, hooked it up, and the first thing was a continuous error screen telling me the HDMI cable was not sufficient. It was the HDMI cable that came in the box. So I gave it a new HDMI cable. The next error message was “the tv didn’t have enough power to run the unit.” It wasn’t connected to the tv. It was connected to the wall plug with the usb and usb plug that came in the box. Everywhere I plugged it in, the same message came up. Nothing had enough power to run it - it was the usb that came with the unit. Yet, it was powered on with the useless HDMI cable but programming couldn’t be watched. Bottom line, useless. We hooked up the old Roku and used the new remote. We could not use the new unit, the included HDMI cable, or the usb power source.
