I received the EZVIZ Mini Plus camera for free in exchange for an honest review. This camera is small, but mighty. It’s a color high def camera meant for indoors. There is a two-way microphone/speaker on it, so you can hear what is going on in the area you are monitoring and you can speak through it. This is configurable to turn on/off. In fact, there are several different configurations you can make to this camera. There is a motion sensor that starts recording when it senses motion. There are several alarm setting that can be set, status lights on/off and IR on/off. The setup was very easy. Once I had the app installed on my iPhone, I followed the directions in the Quick Start Guide. The Camera connected to my network pretty quickly, and I was able to monitor the video by going into the app. The camera is in color, and you can set one of three levels of video quality. I had mine set to basic and the picture was actually very good. You have the ability to record and take snapshots of the live feed. You can save video to a MicroSD card, your phone, or the EZVIZ Cloud. I really like how this camera works for its size and price point. The one negative I see with this camera is it runs really hot. If you plan to place it and forget it, then it shouldn’t be a problem. The jury is still out on whether the running hot will impact performance or not. So far, so good. One of the best features of the app is that you can have many cameras loaded into one app for each monitoring of them. They also don’t have to be the same camera model. So, you can have peace of mind that you can video monitor your home effectively.

MINI Plus This camera is solid! I’ve had the MINI Plus for about a month, as it was given to me as a free sample to review. Honestly, it gives me everything I would want from an indoor camera. Pros: Easy setup. Took less than 5 minutes to connect to the app. When looking back at previous days – the app has a neat feature that shows you when there was activity. It detects movement and you can hop between moments easily. Night Vision! I initially put this in my children’s room. It produced a clear picture with wide angle that allowed me to see the entire room. Sleek and easy to physically install anywhere (so long as you can get the cord to a power outlet). Having a magnetic base to quickly stick on a surface made installation painless. Cons: The audio had some nasty feedback. Unlike the Mini O, when you enable the audio it is a live feed (not walkie-talkie). The app itself promotes their online storage ad nauseam with a constant obnoxious banner. The online feature for storage seems great, but if you’re not willing to purchase it—the app will do everything in its power to try to convince you otherwise. When the camera was on night-vision there was an additional light on the front of the camera which would lit up the room. Not bright like the noon day sun, but more like a soft night-light. Since I had this in my children’s room, I ended up taping the light to avoid unwanted attention of the camera.

I received the mini plus camera to review and give my opinion. Overall the mini plus was very easy to set up. It`s very small and compact. It comes with the plus and all that`s needed to start using right away.I had to plug it in and then install the app on my phone once my camera was set up and connected to wifi it was very easy to navigate. I think the camera is high quality and does what I want it to do the picture is very clear and I can see exactly what I want from my phone in a live view.

The camera is made well. The instructions to set it up were very easy to follow and I had the camera up and running in under five minutes (including downloading the app). When the camera is turned on, the picture is very high quality and the infrared image looks great at night as well. The motion detection is great and the alarm it raises on the app is helpful. I will say that the push notifications for this alert can become a nuisance - the motion detector is sensitive to changes in the brightness of the sun coming through the windows, even at its lowest setting. Also, after running the camera for several hours, I unplugged it and found it to be very warm. This did not seem to impact the camera`s capabilities however. Overall, I highly recommend this equipment. The app is a little more confusing and the interface could stand to be streamlined. Also, the app and the website seem to have totally different functionality. You can get done what you want to get done, but you may have to access the app and the website separately to make it happen. As an example, I encrypted the feed from one of my security cameras via the app, then tried to share the feed with my wife`s app (which apparently you can only do from the website). Once I went on the website and shared the feed, she couldn`t see it due to the encryption so I had to go back to the app and remove the encryption. So the functionality is there, but it`s not consolidated or streamlined. Overall, I recommend this system highly. It`s great for the price, and if you don`t mind a little extra time working through the app and website, it has great functionality.

This is a review for the free sample security camera. It's a very compact device, small enough to be somewhat concealed and with the flexibility to be positioned in multiple positions. The camera image is crystal clear while viewed through my smartphone. My only complaint is that the camera has to be plugged in which limits where it can be placed and/or positioned.

Do NOT purchase this camera if you want to do continuous remote monitoring. I purchased this camera to keep an eye and ear on my mother who is becoming less independent due to old age. In particular, I am concerned about her well being at night when she is alone and want to hear if she calls out for help for any reason. Unfortunately this camera will not display monitoring video/sound continuously. After 5 minutes it cuts off and forces you to click on the screen to restart the camera. For me, this makes the camera unusable as I want a continuous video/audio stream to watch and record. After talking with their technical support, I was told there is no work around for this. It was designed this way they said because if they allowed everyone to stream continuously it would eat up all their bandwidth (they force the stream through their cloud so they can record data as a service). Also note, the BestBuy website states that this camera comes with a 16GB SD card included. It does NOT.

I received this camera in exchange for a product review. I like the size and sleek look of the camera. It can be mounted 2 different ways which is helpful. With it being so small, it's great to put in a room where it won't be so visible to someone unaware of it. The 2 way audio, microphone and picture quality was very clear. It was easy to set up with wi-fi and the app on my phone. I would recommend purchasing this camera.

This camera was really awesome!! The clarity was great during the day and at night. I liked the size of the camera because it could be moved practically anywhere in the house since it is so small. I call this camera small but mighty! The set up was super simple, basically plug and play. The syncing for the Wi-Fi was simple also. My entire family was able to sync without issue. The website was also super easy to navigate. I received this product in exchange for my review but I would have easily purchased this product.

Product: INDOOR MINI-O CAMERA (Black) Manufacturer: EZVIZ I was fortunate enough to receive a "complimentary package" which contained this camera, along with 2 other cameras (Mini-Plus, Husky) and in return I would provide a detailed review of my personal likes/dislikes, etc. Packaging; I would say that it is definitely good to the eye, in terms of a customer walking down the "home security aisle" at a local retail outfit, they would have a good idea of what is inside the box and what is offered with said product. Inside you will receive the camera, a power cord/outlet, a small install/mounting bracket with screws and a small EZ INSTALL type of card for quick reference. Price Point; I believe that the pricing is pretty fair compared to some of the other known security systems that are for sale at various retail locations. Design; I was not a huge fan of the design in terms of color/size, though that was my personal preference. I did not like how the "power cord" for each camera was only a certain amount of length. I am not sure if there are additional cords for sale that are longer in length, nor am I certain if these cameras would function w/o being plugged into a power outlet. I would have liked to see the cameras come with an "optional" or perhaps "upgraded version" that perhaps can run off "rechargeable batteries" or maybe consider doing "solar powered" cameras in the future. I would also like to see more colors offered in the near future, I believe the cameras are only available in black or white, but perhaps consider offering them in a green or blue tone (outdoor purposes) or maybe a "custom color" that each customer can pick for an additional fee if the customer wants it in a specific color. I would also like to see the cameras be able to pan/view a full 360 or maybe even a 18o degree angle to have a much bigger view for obvious security reasons. Application (installed on the cell phone); The app was fairly easy to install, and once installed I was able to look around at the various features and options, however there was really no way to find out what each option or setting did w/o having to play around with the app and click on all the various functions (Home, Messages, My Album, Account Management, Function Settings, Help, About, CloudPlay, IFTTT, Feedback, Disconnect Third Party Account) and Logout. The Home screen allows you to view "real time" the camera(s) that you have installed and setup through the EZVIZ app on your cell phone, the Messages screen has a list by date/time of all the "notifications/recordings" for each said camera, the More option will get you into a much larger category/list of options which I mentioned above. The Account Management option is like a general/generic profile screen where you can input your name/alias, cell phone, real name, email address and change password. The function settings tab will allow you to sturn on or off notifications (alerts) to your phone, whether or not you want a soft or loud tone sound on your phone when you receive notifications, a save device parameters and auto-receive alarm after power up tab and wi-fi configuration tool tab which is self explanatory. the Help tab takes you to an online site where it has a variety of FAQ related index of helpful tips, the About screen allows you to check for "software updates" for the camera(s), CloudPlay is a paid type of subscription which allows you to save your recorded data/footage to a "cloud based server" for a fee. IFTTT I am honestly not sure what that does and I did not bother calling to ask the "help desk/support" about it, and the Feedback tab allows you to submit your remarks about what you like or dislike. Help Desk; I did have to call the EZVIZ support line a few different times, once it was because I was having a problem getting one of the cameras to install, I had to use one Wi-Fi frequency (2.4) and the other had to operate off the (5) network. Also, I had a 260015 error that never got resolved.

I received the Mini Plus as a free sample to review. It was easy to unpack and already completely assembled apart from attaching the chord. The quick setup guide was simple and easy to follow. Once plugged into an outlet the unit powered on immediately. However, I had some trouble with it trying to discover my wifi. With my wifi streaming fine onto my i-phone and my laptop right next to the device there clearly wasn`t an issue with my wifi signal. After 5-6 attempts to discover the wifi signal I unplugged the device and returned to my efforts the next day in the same exact location. This time it found my wifi signal on the first attempt. I enjoyed the feature of the microphone as well as the wide angle view that enabled a good streaming picture even in low-light. The swivel base is easy to adjust as well as the stand which is capable of being seated virtually anywhere. The long chord enabled access to outlets that may not be so nearby. The blue-light on the front is helpful to assess the status of the power for the device. It was very easy to add the device to the EZVIZ app on my i-phone and along with other devices from same company you can enter into a simultatneous multi-view similar to what you might see in a security room at a store/ mall etc... This was nice to be able to view all my EZVIZ devices on one screen--even on my phone!

This was great visually clear, small and worked well for decent sized area. Setup was a little more difficult but overall not too bad to setup. The sound however had a bit of static and could have been more clear. The two-way speaking was also good but sometimes was not clear. Overall it was good for what it was intended for.

I received a free sample of this camera in exchange for my review. Overall, the camera is easy to set-up, has many functions, and is able to do a good job in watching over my house when I am not there. The biggest function for me is the piece of mind that I get knowing that I am able to view my home from a remote location. I did have some difficulty in setting up the camera to my Wi-Fi, but I was able to contact customer service and they walked me through the process and success!! Overall, I give it a good rating. Would like to have had a more seamless process in the initial set-up, but I am happy with the final results.

I'm setting it up at the moment, but I didn't receive the memory card. 3 stars for not getting what I paid for.

I had some difficulty getting this camera to hook up to my phone. I was finally able to by generating a QR code on my phone (which is an option after it fails to connect to phone) and pointing the camera at the QR generated on my phone. I struggled for about 10 minutes before it would finally connect up. The zoom in feature on this camera is great. It does have a slight delay of transmitting the images to my smartphone (about 1.5 seconds). The magnet base makes it easy to install almost anywhere, with the attached magnet plate secured to the wall. The camera does get slightly warm, but nothing alarming. This camera has a better built in mic than other products I’ve used before. Apart from the length of set up, it’s a wonderful camera; I should mention that I was sent a free sample to use for this review. Overall, I absolutely love the quality this camera produces!

Hi I receive a free sample of the mini plus indoor camera and I have to say that it works great.it is so very easy to install and your able to view from miles away. I would recommend this camera

I received this product as a free sample to review. Overall its a great in door camera. The one feature we love is the voice interaction. you can speak to each other from home to my phone. We have tried to use it in the window for outdoor surveillance but at night its not as good as during the day. Best to use indoors.

I originally received the Petcam version of this camera, which is more expensive, but has the exact same specs as this camera. I was unable to connect the camera through my phone to the internet so I exchanged it for this camera. I'm having the same problem. I called Ezviz support and got sent on a wild goose chase to my internet provider, then my modem support, and then my router support. After 3 hours on the phone it still will not connect to the network. I'm extremely frustrated and am returning the camera. I consider myself pretty handy with devices such as this and should not have this problem. Tech support was not helpful at all!

i purchased this camera and it does not work it is damaged. bought it at best buy and they refused to take it back because they said it was used and worn, but it was not, i was probable purchased and returned that way and i was the sucker who bought a used camera that best buy should have not sold. so now i am out of 69.99 and cant return a piece of used junk, i will never shop at BEST BUY again and their employers are also unhelpful and have no experience in selling their product. i will never buy another EZVIZ camera again. and i will tell all my friends not too aswell.
