It’s good for calling and video chatting only

It was difficult to set up with my nest because I was getting different answers from Facebook portals customer service. Finally someone told me that I needed to download the app on my phone and set a bunch of stuff up, then I got it connected on my portal. However, it only shows my doorbell camera if I ask Alexa to pull it up, it won’t stay on the portal screen for long though. Good quality for video chatting with family however.

Initial set up

Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The first one that was sent to my dad for fathers day had issues and could not be set up, so unfortunately it was several weeks before we actually were able to use it and see him. A new one was sent to him, and it was able to be set up and used. The difficulty with older people is linking their facebook accounts, especially if they can't remember their passwords! Otherwise, functionality is great, set is the biggest issue with people who are not that tech savy.
