Great east to keep in touch with family. It also has alot of great features that they don't advertise. I would definitely recommend it.

Easy to use and a lot of fun! Highly recommend, especially for older individuals who might not want to or can't use a smartphone for video-chatting.

Purchased it as a mother's day gift for my mom that lives in another state. Was hard for her to use her cell phone but this is very user friendly.

Great to keep the family connected across the country. Facebook security is flaky but I don’t use it with personal info a lot and my firewalls are solid.

Lots of features Seems to work easier then the Show IMHO Seems more people have access to and are more familiar to Facebook then amazon anyways

I really liked the way the whatsapp calls are handled. Almost all apps work fine! A must buy if you need one for calling.

this is the 4th portal that I have purchased. I brought them from each of my children and we have enjoyed keeping in touch through the video calling

I love the Facebook 8" Portal Mini with Alexa. It is so much fun. If you ever have phone calls with children, you'll love it too. My 4 yr old twin grandsons live in another state so I don't get to see them often. When I've done video calling with them in the past, they get bored quickly and leave the talking to the adults. With Facebook Portal that changed. I can read stories to them with animations, play games such as catching donuts, making crowns with favorite items, and matching kittens all while watching them have loads of fun. The video comes in clear, the sound is great. And the ability to click on their face and have the camera follow the little bundles of energy works beautifully. Add to that the fact that you can have the entire family in on a call and see everyone at once. The security feature should not be overlooked either. You can turn the camera and microphone off when not in use, or just the camera. There is not only a cover for the camera, but a red light to verify that the camera is closed. Voice activation has worked flawlessly. From making a phone call, ending a call, playing music from my favorite app, asking the weather, to asking information. It has had no problem understanding what I wanted to do. The web browser is also a very convenient feature. Music sounds good coming through the speakers and I've only had it set at 50%. Set up was fast and easy. Portal walks you through the setup of services and features. There are preloaded apps and others can be added. Alexa was easy to set up and works great. If you have other smart devices that are compatible with Alexa, you can set those up to work through Portal. When not using for other tasks, you can have your Facebook photos displaying on the screen along with the time and weather. It will notify you when your friends are active on Facebook, you can call them through messenger even if they don't have a Portal. There is also the option to use WhatsApp. I don't use it and the features are limited so I'll stick with Facebook messenger. There are so many features on this smart display that I may have forgotten to mention something and I'm sure there are more I have yet to discover, but with what I've experienced so far I would definitely recommend this Facebook Portal smart display to anyone, especially if you have children you call. I received this product in exchange for my fair and honest review. I honestly love this Facebook Portal.

Grabbed this for my grandmother who is 80+ Very easy to set up for them and very easy for them to use so they can now video chat with everyone!

Love it! Would be great if it had instant messenger kids app so my kids can call their grandparents without actually making a Facebook account.

Brought this for my mom and uncle since my uncle lives so far away and they aren’t to tech savvy with the phones to FaceTime, they work great!

I have to say if you have to make video with your family or your girl friend, this portal is the best choice for all u guys.

Works great Am able to read larger text. Music sounds great coming out of the portal. I would recommend to all on this product

We got this as a gift for our MIL. She video calls us with Whatsapp from it frequently, and it works very well. She loves it!!
