It's Fallout, that should be enough

It plays almost the same as 3, but it's more refined. The new base building and salvage system is a lot of fun but it's completely optional. The game world is much brighter and less depressing like it was in 3. As usual with Bethesda, it has bugs. I haven't run into anything game breaking yet, but I have seen some funny bugs. They will patch them over time. Graphically, it is little soft even on PC. Bethesda claims it was a design choice, but I do think it should have looked better. Buy it if you are willing to sacrifice a large amount of your life to this game, it's big.

Excellent and messy at the same time

Yes it has bugs like the lip synch and your companion AI getting you into tons of trouble. But this game is still a blast. The quirky dialogue from the denizens of Fallout, the hilarious DJs and the fun of just picking a direction and seeing where it takes you. Would recommend to any RPG fan.

I would agree, you will not be disappointed with the gold edition with the season pass for all the dlc goodness to come. PLUS you get a pair of socks too!! It's a heck of a deal for the price so pick it up and get walking.
