So this is actually the first Fallout game I've played. I bought it after watching the E3 launch and talking to friends. I can't put the controller down. I haven't even gotten more than 4 missions into the main story line, and I'm already a level 51 just from doing side quests and exploring the environment. Similar, IMO, to Skyrim, but adds a unique twist (although I'm sure it's not unique to those who've played Fallout previously). Glad I bought this game.

I've never played any of the other Fallout games, but that didn't stop me from enjoying this. The learning curve can be a bit steep and I haven't gamed in 5+ years, but once you get the hang of it, this game is SO much fun. Bestbuy priced matched Newegg's promo and I snagged this for $30 with my rewards cert.

One of the best games my son has ever played. The amount of content and depth of the quests and characters are amazing! Hundreds of hours of replay-ability. Bethesda has truly outdone themselves with Fallout 4. Best game studio in the business!

First time I have ever played fallout, my friend kept telling me to get the game so I did and I love the game. It is so much different than other fps games as it is an open map with endless possibilities of what to do and ways to play the game.

if you love open world games and game with good story, this is for you

If you have played Fallout 3 this will suck you back into the series with its familiar gameplay. Great graphics and fun quests. Extensive leveling perk system will keep you busy the entire time and you dont have to worry about maxing out your skills. There are always new things to find and new quests to try.

as a huge fan of the Elder scrolls series and of Fallout 3 and New Vegas with a combined total of over 2000 hours between them all I have to say Fallout 4 blows them out of the water with the sheer polish and shine of every minute detail of the huge open world and extensive dialogue a true must buy for anyone

If you're a fan of open world RPGs and/or Bethesda, you're going to love this game. While graphics aren't jaw dropping and some animations are a bit clunky, the gameplay is stellar. It's all too easy to sit down, say you'll do a few quests only for hours to fly by as you dig ever deeper into the wastelands.

I am a huge fan of the fallout Games! Bethesda outdid themselves with this new game! I'm so in love/addicted with it. I totally recommend it! If you haven't previously played the other games, don't worry it will take a while to get use to, but after you do you will enjoy the gameplay! Totally recommend it!

No need to fear not knowing what it's about, everything you need to know is explained throughout your gameplay, all the better to build your own story. Already spent over 170 hours on it probably, enjoying it every day. Getting ready for my second playthrough. Don't expect it to be perfect, but being harsh with games I know, this is definitely one of the best that I own, with a bit of something for everyone. Just got the platinum trophy yesterday.

Graphics are really good and the story line is very elaborate.. Pretty decent game for my first fallout

Prepare to merge yourself into the post nuclear fallout where you will spend the next 500 hours of your life trying to collect random objects for missions, upgrades and the classic bobbleheads. Prepare to meet Preston Garvey the Roman Bellic of the Fallout series. So crawl out to the Fallout with me.

The game is a open world exploration with many places to explore I often felt overwhelmed. Halfway through you just kind of want to play the story missions, ransacking buildings and settlements just got tiring. Story is great though, I was frequently surprised by actions I took that effected the story.

This game is massive with plenty of options and to explore and customize. The crafting is unique and similar to Skyrim, but the most redeeming aspect of the game is the settlement building. Managing resources, defense, and citizen happiness offers a unique experience to keep the game intersting

What can I say that hasn't already been said about fallout 4? This game is amazing! I have spent countless hours in this game and I still want to play more. This is such a great addition to the series. Do yourself a favor and pick this game up. It frequently goes on sale so keep an eye out.

game will take commitment to finish, if you have the time and like exploring different locations than it is a great game. not the best looking game but really big and interesting. most quests will have you go somewhere and kill everything there, some side quests does get repetitive over time.

Fallout is a great franchise. That said, 4 episodes in, it is really becoming an incremental improvement game - better graphics, some new weapons... Having fun with this, but not sure that I will have the engagement to go for Fallout5, whenever that comes out. May be time for something new.

First off, I have played all of the other fallouts and have enjoyed them bugs and all. Many complain about this game due to these reasons, yes I myself have ran into bugs(invisible gun) but nonetheless Bethesda is working on a fix as I speak. There are so many different type of ways this game can be played. The settlers thing is iffy but a good addition just haven't delved to far into this aspect. Game of the year right here.

Bought as a gift for 16 year old. I played original Fallout and the whole series is addicting. The kid loves it due to the open world concept plus the ability to build and tweak. Getting him to do chores have never been so easy! Do chores and earn gaming time.....so happy I gifted this.

If you were a fan of Fallout 3/New Vegas, this is even better. It is more polished, interactive and open than the previous installment and it has more engaging characters!
