Fallout is back and it's bigger than ever! Pros: fantastic writing, dark humor, great gunplay, tons of things to do. Cons: oversimplified story mechanics reminiscent of other Western RPG titles (Mass Effect), glitchy but that's the fun of it too.

I bought this for my brother for Christmas, I watched him play and couldn't help but to also want to play. The graphics are great and the storyline is interesting. Amazing how far video games have come since NES, N64, Playstation, and Sega. Lol.

I'm not a beaver gamer and I don't spend extended periods of time playing games, but I find this game hard to put down. I wasn't a huge fan of the previous games but only after two weeks playing this game I bought the season pass to go with it.

Best Buy was including Fallout 4 for free with the purchase of the Call of Duty Black Ops III PS4 console and game bundle. I have only loaded the game so far, but have heard nothing but good things about it and look forward to getting started.

This is the game of the year. You have to have this game it is fun and is definitely worth the money...Warning... this game is addictive and will take up a lot of your time, because it is so fun. Say goodbye to the next year of your life....

I've played every game Bethesda has released since Oblivion, and while I was drawn into that world, Fallout 3, it's when I played New Vegas that I was like these games sure get repetitive and fast. I picked up Skyrim, played 70 hours put it down for two years then forced myself to come back and finish it (another 70 hours) and I never wanted to play it again. So what does that have to do with Fallout 4.....well everything. As it's basically still the same as Fallout 3 and NV, just with prettier graphics. Sure Bethesda prettied it up, gave you more things to do, but you're still collecting the same stuff, searching everywhere for stuff to build your base, build a new weapon, etc. I think the new motto should be Bethesda.....Bethesda games never change. And that's for the good and bad, hopefully they'll shake things up one day instead of playing so safe, otherwise people won't be coming back after they see that nothing really is different anymore. The more things change the more they stay the same.

My review isn't about the storyline or the graphics, which are both perfectly fine. This game requires an incredible amount of time and energy to complete. Even when skipping side missions some tasks require hours of dedication. Great if you're young and don't have responsibilities, not if you have other things going on in your life.

Amazing game for both fans of the previous entries and people new to the series. The game world is a big step up over New Vegas and many of the new features are welcomed. Biggest complaint being that some of the new features are not properly explained through tutorial missions leaving the player to determine how to do things with little direction. This caused me to have to restart a new character after playing for a few hours and knowing how certain features worked. That being said, I have always played through the Fallout games multiple times and the exploring provides lots of extra game time beyond the story, so this was not too much of a negative.

By the far the best open world video game I have ever played!!! I thought the Far Cry franchise and The Last of Us were amazing and that is until I played Fallout 4 - having never played any of the Fallout games! I would definitely recommend this game if you enjoy open-world, scavenging, great graphics, shooters, guns, scary creatures and more! This is the only game that has been in my PS4 for over a month! Never gets old and there's always a new adventure and missions to take part in! Definitely recommend playing! Thanks!

I've only ever played fallout new Vegas and while I still think that game was better, I think fallout 4 stands out just as much. I haven't played through all of it but so far I think it could be even better than new Vegas in my opinion

I haven't played a Fallout game since the original on the PC years ago. This latest version is as exciting and captivating as that original. Suitable for veterans or new comers, there's so much content to enjoy you won't be disappointed.

Fallout 4 is the best game I've played for current consoles. It improves on its predecessors in virtually all possible ways. Fallout 4 makes for a deep, immersive experience well worth the hundreds of hours you're likely to spend with it.

A great next gen installment in the Fallout franchise. It is everything you expect from a Bethesda game and more. While some my complain about bugs and glitches, the game is still solid and well worth the hours of gameplay it contains.

I've played every Fallout game since you were the Vault Dweller looking for the water chip. I enjoy Fallout 4 but it's not like the others. There's a definite learning curve when it comes to buliding and maintaining the settlements, mods, and even the pip boy layout. It's nothing you can't get used to and it's Fallout so there's always something to do.

It's next gen fallout 3. The graphics are not bad. Don't listen to all the haters complaining about home it doesn't look good. It's better than last gen version. I recommend if you have a lot of time on your hands. It's a long game.

I bought this game as the flag ship game for my ps4, and let me tell you this games puts the others in the series to shame, great story line, massive replay value as all fall outs have and this is before the DLC hits the game oh yeah

Post apocalyptic scavenger saving lives with buzz saw bats and laser pistols. Build super awesome shanty towns complete with shotgun turrets made out of scavenged circuit boards and rubber tires. If you like fun, then play this game.
