Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with Fallout 4's immersive gameplay, compelling story, and expansive open world. Many also praised the game's substantial content and action-packed challenges. However, some players reported encountering bugs and experiencing frame rate issues, particularly on the PS4. A few also found the settlement building system and difficulty level to be less than ideal.

Bought the game for myself. I have never played Fallout before but my boss recommended it. It came with my Uncharted PS4 bundle so got a great deal on it. I love the fact that you can really customize your character and that you can choose to view in either 1st person or 3rd person shooter mode. The devs have packed a lot in this game and it is easy to get distracted and stay distracted from the main mission. My boyfriend started playing it once he saw me playing and since then it's pretty much become "his" game. I look forward to when I can finally get the game back.

Game of the Year?. . .

This game should definitely be in the running for Game of the Year! In my opinion it's the best one in the series that I have played. I finished the story line missions and many side missions and still have not fully completed the game. I'm guessing I have upwards of 200 hours in!!! The game is simply huge. The storyline is a little thin but that really doesn't mean much to me. Is it entertaining? Are the graphics beautiful? Yes and yes! I can't find enough good things to say about Fallout 4 and would easily recommend this to anyone!!

    Love me some Fallout

I was SO hyped for this game. I loved Fallout 3 and New Vegas, and so when I heard Fallout 4 was coming I was excited. I was a little nervous that it wouldn't live up to my expectations, but it SO did! I love this game! It's so much fun, and I love wandering the wasteland with my faithful dog and getting into trouble! The quicksave feature is so nice, and it's always so much fun to explore and deal with the billions of quests! The only bad thing is my wife started playing and loves it so much I never get a turn!

    Great Continuation of the Franchise

So much to explore and customize. Build a base of operations and gain followers in the post apocalyptic wasteland and find out a deeper plot that may threaten the future. Great game you can dump a lot of hours into.

    Huge world to explore

I particularly enjoy games where I can explore a lot. I'm 10 or so hours in and I've barely scratched the "main quest". Instead I love to jumping around the world and finding all the fun details, easter eggs, characters, etc. If you enjoyed this about Fallout 3 then Fallout 4 is a no brainer. My only complaint is that I don't really enjoy the settlement building "sim city" like mode. It's alright... and you can generally ignore it apart from some simple quests... but it's more of a focus than I expected.

I honestly have not been into the Fallout Series until I gave this game a chance as a rental. I believe this game will be the best rated game from 2015. It is incredibly detailed and has a huge map area to explore and get caught up in. Pretty much everything in the world of Fallout 4 is dangerously toxic or some kind of creature, person or mutant wants to kill you, so you will find yourself always on your toes to survive! I absolutely love this game and highly recommend it!

Waiting for the add on missions

If you have played any of the prior games you know what to expect, however I seem to be finding a lot of Stealth Boys (10 to date). I have only used one, and that was by mistake. will have to replay at a higher level to see if that is corrected. ONLY TWO COMPLAINTs: Strong keeps stepping in front of me when I'm engaging my targets, and my spouse. Don't buy me the game and expect me not to play it. Bethesda Game Studios I challenge you to come up with a patch for that...

I got this game on sale around Christmas and I haven't stopped playing since. I still haven't discovered everything on the map, which is large. You can fast travel to a location once you have discovered it which saves a lot of time. Be prepared to play this game for hours at a time! The story is engaging and will keep you going. I highly recommend this game, it is one of the most interesting games I have ever played and the graphics are excellent!

    BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!

I have had this game for MONTHS, and I still go back and play it almost once a week, even though I have beat it 4 times. I went back and played with each team to take down the institute. Each time it's just as exciting as the first. The storyline is touching and so interesting. You really find in the end that Codsworth is your best friend, I won't spoil the story about Shawn (his son), but, it's seriously the best game I have played in years.

    Must Play for Most Gamers

Fantastic game with an enormous world to explore. The Graphics are really good for a game of this magnitude, especially being on a console. I would suggest getting the PC version if you have a rig powerful enough because the mods that will be coming out in the near future will make that game all the better. Console experience is solid, however, and I personally have encountered very few bugs. Very impressed with the size and scale of this game.

At only 30 FPS you will notice everything, not much stutter - as they said, more like loading of a city or town or area slows the frame rate really. Other than that, a phenomenal game on the PS4. Building and shaping your own areas with defense designs is a plus, and the campaign is not a boring one. Much better colors than FO3 - stated that we on PS4 will get quite a few free mods too!!! Run out and get this game. Bathesda is the best.

This is my first fallout game of the series I have played and I really love it. I'm a big fan of 1st person games, like Far Cry and Call of Duty and this has those elements plus way more in depth of things, most being rebuilding society. Was never a fan of RPG games, but this is action RPG and the fighting is like Far Cry, which I really love. i would easily recommend this to anyone looking for adventure game to play for hours.

    Best Fallout So Far

I've put hundreds of hours into both Fallout 3 and New Vegas and I'm already tracking 100+ into Fallout 4. This game refines many of the mechanics of the previous entries while adding an entirely new crafting mechanic which make all those wonderglues you collect WORTH IT. I cannot recommend this game enough if you're a shooter fan, an rpg fan, a post-apocalyptic fan, or an open-world fan. I'll be looking forward to the DLC.

    Great Addition To Fallout

This isn't the first Fallout game that I've purchased/played, but it's held my attention like it is. While the game relies on a lot of the same attractions that have been in the previous Fallout games, there's something better about this one. It feels more polished, with more to do and a lot of what we wanted in the previous versions. TL;DR: It's not a hugely innovative Fallout game, but it's the best I've played so far and it's definitely worth the purchase.
