This game has many qualities. Customization, ethical choices and consequences. Exploration, crafting, building. Several compaions and factions offer great replay value.

I like many others am a Fallout fan so it is not a shock that I went out and purchased the latest Fallout game. I read many reviews both good and bad, but ultimately regardless of what they said I had to experience it for myself. As many reviews stated the game does have some flaws, but there is so much stuff to do in this game I just looked passed them and continued on with other things to do which in no time you forget about the little things that you didn't like. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is a fallout fan and if you are unsure still go rent it to see what the new wasteland has to offer.

A game where you have to survive and even rebuild in the post-apocalyptic wasteland. Though not perfect with glitches because the game is just sooo big (which most will be fixed via future patches), it is still an enjoyable product for fans of Role Playing Games.

My big draw to Bethesda Software was Doom and how there games no matter how difficult you where addicted to see the game to the end no matter how bad you sucked at game play. I play games for fun and not to show out. Fallout4 is very tough for me and I usually want to trade in a game if it seems impossible, But not Fallout4, I just want to keep going to see what is around the corner.. It keeps me interested and takes me to a different world, I do get killed over and over, but I can't quit. I may put it down for a while out of frustration but I go back and for me that is the fun of the game.

The gameplay of this game is great overall, but the story could use a bit more subtlety and the impact of choice factor needs to be redone. I've noticed that the choices you make have little impact on anything, the only times being when dealing with a faction. That's my two cents on the game, and despite the things I have said, it's the little things that make the game great, like finding a skeleton next to a toaster that had a screwdriver stuck in the top... Those kind of things are what make this game worthy of sitting in my ps4 24/7 even when I have a three new games to play... Worth it lol.

My last Bethesda game was Skyrim. Played around 300 hours and came in to this game with sky high expectations. I will say the game delivered 80 percent of what I was looking for. Previous Fallout players might not enjoy this as Bethesda made it less of rpg and more of shooter. I for one enjoyed for this reason. Also side missions are perfectly structured for 20 minute session which makes it perfect for a short gaming session right before heading off to bed. The game can be played for 100's of hours with its never ending side quests. I would highly recommend this game for any rpg fans.

With an advertising slogan like "welcome home" it is not hard to guess that Fallout 4 is intentionally constructed within the world of the preceding Game of the Year, Fallout 3. Since I loved the first game, I do not find issue with this, rather it allowed me to fairly seemlessly integrate back into the world despite a change in platform (from PC to PS4). The world is immersive and gorgeous; there are some who apparently want it "more realistic," but the aesthetic of Fallout has never leaned toward perfect realism, so I don't have a problem with this. I have put about 50 hours into it and have only encountered one progress loosing bug (I jumped my way between a car and a building and was in an inescapable "perpetual fall"). Still trying to get a handled of the new modding system, but so far it has only enhanced the game experience. I was admittedly predisposed to like this game, having played all previous Fallout games with the exception of BOS; however, I feel that the game has met all of my expectations and continues to impress.

This is an amazing game. It is not just a shooting game. It is a complex role playing shooter with tactical elements. There is easily 100 hours of engaging gameplay.

I'm a huge fan of the fallout universe, the style of the world with its characters, creatures, weapons etc. I just find all of it very fascinating and fun to explore. And while I was a big fan of Fallout 3 I couldn't get over how ugly that game looked, and while this game is no technical masterpiece, the improvements Bethesda did on this game were still very impressive for me. My complaints with the game are legitimate criticisms though that keep it from being one of the best games I ever played. The side missions that are meant to expand and engage you in this world are not nearly as compelling or enjoyable to play as previous installments in the franchise. There are a few neat missions here and there but they get repetitive at times for me. Enemy variety in this game is another problem, there are not nearly as many interesting unique enemy types as I was hoping there would be, so you'll be fighting more or less the same enemies most of the time. And it being a Bethesda game it's unfortunately filled with glitches and it occasionally crashed on me after playing for so long. But I feel that the positives far out way the negatives, it's an incredibly fun game to play that managed to keep me invested for an incredibly long time as a $60 game should. I certainly got my money's worth out of this one.

Official reviews of the game are pretty spot-on. Overall it's very fun with a ton more options and ways to play than previous Fallout games. Pros: -Graphics are very improved over FO3/New Vegas -Tons of customizations for weapons/armod & building settlements -Great map design: really enjoy exploring the Commonwealth and finding new locations. -Lots of well designed quests Cons: -Graphics aren't as good as other PS4 games -The game doesn't do a very good job of explaining some of the less intuitive concepts Overall I would definitely recommend this game.

Solid gameplan and interesting story, I feel like I was wanting something more in line with FO-NV or FO3. Dark and ominous, the game is enjoyable, but I feel like something was missing to make it a game in the truest of Fall Out fashion.
