I grew up playing Fallout 1 and 2. When 3 was announced, I was excited. After New Vegas, I was a bit burned out by the franchise. When 4 was announced I was excited again. After playing it, I feel it's a great game, but something is off. Facial animations are still awkward. Dialogue sometimes feels unnatural. Plenty of boring side-quests, uninteresting NPC characters. Sometimes borderline next-gen graphics. I would recommend playing this on a high-end PC if you have one. I'm sure mods and such will iron out some of these issues and improve the overall experience.

I would totally recommend this game, amazing story and so many surprises.

They may have made us wait a long time to release a new fallout, but the wait was certainly worth it! It's an emersive experience that you can get lost in for hours without even noticing how long you've been playing for because it's such an in-depth story line with not only a great main story, but also tens of hours of side quests that can all play into the main story.

This game has been great. And there is still alot i've not completed 99%

Want to follow the storyline? Cool. Want to build settlements and mod your weapons and armor? Do-able. Want to just take off on your own and explore? Yeah, me too. But if you just want to shoot the place up you're welcome to do that too. FO4 has a lot of explorable places in a map a bit smaller than FO3 - but don't worry - you're going to love it! DLC coming soon too!

If you've ever played or enjoyed a Bethesda RPG, then Fallout 4 is for you. A massive open world, seemingly endless quests, engaging exploration, a deep crafting and leveling system, and countless other features will ensure you never run out of things to do. If you're looking for a deep game to keep you entertained for 100-200 hours, Fallout 4 is highly recommended.

I wasn't very excited about fallout until the last two weeks leading up to the release. The hype led me to buy it, I've never played a fallout game before. It's beautiful, graphics and gameplay are both crisp. You need a lot of free time to dedicate to this game to get anywhere which I don't have so I doubt it will be played much but a wonderful game none the less.

What can I say? I haven't played a Fallout title previous to this one, and I am blown away. Though I have enjoyed Bethesda's Elder Scrolls series, this takes on the open world questing in a wholly different and quite humorous way. The Wasteland is treacherous and unpredictably exciting to explore. Wish I had more time in my busy schedule to dwell in the FO4 world.

This game like all other fallout games before it is great! A lot of hours are spent exploring the areas as well as playing the main quests. If you also take the time to do side quests you will get your moneys worth! Leveling up and getting new perks is also fun to do. I recommend this game for anyone. Random note: I also love the humor randomly found in the game!

Open world environment with a good storyline. Hours of entertainment!

Fallout is great. The world is huge, and the graphics are phenomenal. Top it off, now it is based on Boston. Obviously you can't walk from concord to Lexington in 5 minutes, but the represented greater Boston area is a nice touch. The base building is a nice addition. I'm 10 hours in and feel like I might be approaching 10% done. A great game from a great company

In my opinion Fallout 3 was better in many ways, however, the game is fantastic. Very few bugs for a new game and still get the Bethesda experience

I love this game. I am about 80 hours into this game and have had fun and excitement the entire time. Fallout 4 has a huge map and even areas to explore outside of the map limits. Lots of cool weapons and enemies. Good storyline that keeps you wanting to play more. This is an excellent game for someone over 15 years old. There is a lot of violence in this game.

Great story line and really fun to play. I want to play it everyday!

great gameplay, great story, everything a open world fan can ask for

I have put in about 12 hours into the game so far and it has hundreds of hours left, lots of gameplay for the money and while not cutting edge graphics; they are a huge improvement and when combined with the dialogue wheel similar to mass effect it makes for a much more immersive experience than previous games. It is more of the same but that is a good thing

Im a Bethesda fan for their open world gaming. I played all their games and did not have to think to get this one. New area, new stories that tie to overall history of fallout. the story is deeper than a single game. You can choose to play in any way you want. you cant custom build your bullets like in new vegas and some feat. changed but its a must get.
