I've never played a Fallout game before Fallout 4. Being a fan of shooters, I gave it a try. With little to no direction regarding mission goals, it's a struggle to get myself to like this game. Maybe if I had a strategy guide I could get the hang of it.

For all the hype about this game I was really hoping it would be better. But it's just an average game for me. If you can pick it up super cheap get it. If not I wouldn't waste my money on it.

My copy came with a bunch of glitches or I just happen to cause glitches to the game. I am definitely looking forward to the newer version to give this another shot.

Don't play Tom Clancy's The Division prior to this game. It will ruin what probably is a 4-5 star game. The lack of online multiplayer hurts this game tremendously. If you don't mind single player games you'll enjoy.

    Game Of The Year IMO

This is an amazing game, it will truly take up next couple of months of your life. To anyone looking at this as a gift for someone, I don't think this game if for everyone. It's bloody and often inappropriate for younger games, keep in mind. Also it's huge, with many different game mechanics and deep game systems that can be frustrating to some of the more casual gamers. Otherwise it looks great, plays great and has a TON of content, much more stuff to do than any other game that's out right now. Only complaint is those load screens, there are a lot of them and some times they can be up to a minute or so.

At first I liked it but then the more I played the more my expectations were lowered. All until I regretted buying it. Luckily I got a good deal on it because I'm a bigger fan of New Vegas and Fallout 3.

Well I got to a point in the game and now it just freezes up. I reload the game at my save point and two minutes later it frozen again and again! I guess it's time to start over with a new character.

Speaking on behalf of my significant other who didn't enjoy this as much as she was hoping. They took away a lot of crafting and things she enjoyed from 3 and New Vegas in this installment.

    Welcome back to the wasteland

Welcome to Boston, or what's left of it. In this fourth entry you play as a new character in a new location, so if you haven't played a previous entry, don't worry. A lot of folks said the graphics were dated, but Bethesda games have never been Crysis 4k, need a super computer from NASA to run them. They look just fine and fit the atmosphere and story. Veterans of the game will like for the most part the gameplay, some things have changed. Power armor now requires batteries (fusion cores), so you can't go rampaging through the wasteland in it anymore; use it wisely; until you get more of course and then feel free to rampage along again. The story and side-quests are great, though I personally didn't do the main story until about 2 days worth of play as I got sidetracked. Plenty to explore and plenty to kill.

Okay for an RPG. Not so much as Fallout game. Seems like Bethesda took all of the RPG elements out of this one and left us with a moderately sized game map with little to do.
