Sad end to a great game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Completely bummed about this game. I have played every iteration since the original release and was incredibly excited about the prospects of this game. Unfortunately, this game requires you to play with an online community. There is no option for solo play with NPC's. Too bad. I wouldn't recommend this product.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am trying to think of something positive to say about this game... but I've got nothing. This game is awful! Nothing more to say besides everything negative.

Fallout 76 Review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They dropped the ball on this game. Just go back and play the other Fallouts. This game should've been a free to play game.

Do NOT buy this game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First things first, I could not wait until this game came out! I love the Fallout series and did not hesitate to pre-order this installment. That being said, here is my advise to you; If you have not already purchased Fallout 76, DON'T! Please heed my words, this game is garbage at best. A (still), broken piece of unadulterated garbage! Bethesda should recall this game and refund everyone's money plus a thousand dollars for making them play this trash. Please be aware if you are buying this for a console (Xbox, PlayStation), you will need either Xbox gold or the PlayStation equivalent to play the game (so add another 50-60 dollars on top of the game price). Yes, it is an online MMO. Yes, other players can, and will, kill you (griefing), You will be punished for PVP in many ways, even if you yourself do not want to PVP, you have no choice. You will constantly be micromanaging your hunger and thirst, then trying to get rid of the rads you got from eating or drinking. There are no NPC's, no driving story line, oh, and the biggest thing, the game is still so broken it is more like buying a rough draft version of an alpha release. I couldn't even count the number of times in 15 minutes of game play, on the second day of release, that the "Server is not responding so controller buttons have been disabled" error message would pop up as everything freezes. You can not play in your own world. You can not adjust gameplay, i.e., easy, normal, hard, etc. (I always liked playing a game on easy-normal mode so I could follow the story-telling, then I would go back and play it on harder modes for the challenge). I just can not recommend buying this game at all. Sorry Bethesda, but this one is a complete belly flop into the center of a cesspool.

Game is awesome
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Feels as good as fallout 4 but multiplayer. It has issues yes but as we play they fix them. I find it to hard for some players, there is a lot involved. More so than sea of thieves. I do recommend this for someone who has time. This game needs a lot of hours. Love it. Bethesda. Thank you. Two thumbs up

Eh, son likes it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not my cup of tea. I'm a die hard Fallout Fan and was really excited about Fallout 76. Once it got released, it became clear this was not my cup of tea. That said, my 14yo loves it. He prefers playing online and questing with his close friends and so he doesnt see anything amiss on it. Since he loves it and I dont that equals about 4stars to me.

1 Star only because you can play something
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is "not very good". I get where they were going and its "playable" but its just bugged out, glitchy, and money could be spent else where. I paid full price for this and that was mistake #1. Tricentennial edition was not worth the extra money imo. If I had waited 3 weeks and got the regular edition at sale price, I wouldn't have been so bitter. Server issues and connectivity really bring this game down. At this point, I should have spent $30 and gone back to playing WoW. If you're a true fan of Fallout, avoid this by any means necessary! Wait until its $30 or less is what I would recommend to you. Have atleast 2 other friends who can handle the disappointment of this title. Hopefully a second patch (not the launch day patch) will be out that fixes some of the issues....both major and minor.

Pass on this one
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It took two days to install. Red dead 2 installed in two and half hours and thats a two disc game. It installed faster than one disc Fall out 76. Xbox needs to address the network download they combine to the disc install. It messes up the install time. Ok, i gave a Fall Out 76 a try and i can't believe how bad the mechanics are the camera angles are so bad this has to be the worst experience i have had on Xbox one. I'm not a Multiplayer person either so I'm not happy with other players running by in the distance. The atmosphere is boring and the zombies look bad. I'm thinking about trading this in for something else Hitman 2 or something, this game is just horrendous. I'm glad i did not use the key codes yet.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I dont't want to expend the effort to actually review, the game is just not worth the time. Perhaps that was what they wanted to portray in a post-apocalyptic world.. meaninglessness and pointlessness... just like my review! I loved Fallout 4, my oldest boy says he loves '76, so I bought it. Waste of money for me. Perhaps you will love it?
