    Got bored fast

I'm really disappointed in this game. They took out a lot of the great things about Fallout (interesting story , NPCS) . It is now multiplayer, which is good, but the glitches bugs and flaws make this review negative. It's more of a survival game than traditional fallout RPG game. Need to eat drink sleep, weapons break down etc. Spend a lot of time doing mundane things instead of just exploring. It is also only ONLINE play so cant pause, have multiple saves, etc. No moral decisions to make. Everyone is dead, so all "missions" feel unimportant as the quest giver is already dead. I suggest watching online for awhile. If you get bored watching you will be bored playing.

Fallout MMO with all the Pros and Cons

1st, this game is not Fallout 4. Too many get this game expecting a flawless multiplayer rehash of 4, but it's an MMO and a totally different experience. There are limits to base size and how much loot you can hold because servers can only handle so many players and all their loot. Still, once you learn to manage yourself it's not such a big deal. Also, the SPECIAL and Perks system is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from any other Fallout to date. SPECIAL points affect how many perk cards you can equip not which ones will become available. It was made so you can respec your character on the fly while trying to maintain a balance at the same time. 2nd lots of bugs, but even MMOs like WOW and KOTR still have lag, latency and other issues periodically. It's an expected risk of any MMO and a Bethesda MMO at that. Haven't had any game breakers, just some minor annoyances like getting dropped from the server, lag, and having to revisit my base stash to refresh my materials for world use. It's only two weeks old and still not clean, but it's slowly getting there. Overall, not the greatest game, but far from a bad one too. Lots to explore and it really shines when you group with friends. I'd definitely recommend it, but check the youtube playthroughs and vids too make sure it's a game for you.

I’ve heard bad reviews but in all I think it’s still a great game and a good game to enjoy with friends. Graphics are just like fallout 4 on the regular Xbox one. I upgraded to the X and seen an immediate improvement! Wish they had more radio stations though.

    Glitchy, uninspired, trash

A lot of gripes with this game. I played it even with all the negativity and actually enjoyed it. There is so much wrong with this game and so little that went right. It only holds its ground because it is FALLOUT, and only because its fallout. Playing with friends is fun, but once you reach level 50 there is very little to do. Glitched loading screens, enemies, cards, stashes, quests, events, mods, everything is buggy. The end game content is a reskinned dragon from Skyrim. They LOWERED xp given by high level monsters with recent patch, thus increasing the boring grind that the game already had. Good weapons and armor are EXTREMELY rare, like 50 hours in and I cant get one rare. Same with X01 mods. I've server hopped 100+ times and still havent got the ones I want. Whats the point? There is no point to this game. Mindless, glitchy, boring, carnage. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED WITH CANVAS BAGS, MICRO TRANSACTIONS... Just wait for Obsidians "Outer Worlds".

    Server Error Every 5 Minutes

Trying to play this game was so awful I had to write a review to warn people not to waste money buying this game. I loved Fallout 4 and was very excited to get Fallout 76 and get started. I was shocked to find out it is online only but liked Fallout 4 so much I figured I would give it a try. So I started playing the game and managed to build a C.A.M.P. but then the server disconnected. I figured it was because it is a new game so maybe they needed time to work out the kinks and release a patch or something technical....I asked my friends if it happened to them and they said yes. I waited a few weeks and tried to play again with no luck, every 5 minutes the server drops out and you forced to reload the game. I spent more time waiting for it to load than actually playing the game. I don't have problems playing any other online game, just Fallout 76. If you get dropped off a server even once then the game is trash compared to regular offline games because you never get kicked off your gaming system and have to wonder if you can even play the $60 video game cause the sever is down repeatedly or if the sever is getting an upgrade.... Fallout 76 came out in November and still there is no fix to the problem, I pay for fast internet so I don't have problems gaming but it's not the internet. This game sucks, don't waste your money.

Everybody wants to hate on this game. But hey its a awesome fallout world with your friends. All DLC is free. The only thing I have to say about it is that you are limited to your stash which is 400lbs and whatever you can carry on your person. This is extreemly annoying to me as you have to build all of your gun and armor mods.

Fallout is a good game with great graphics. Although 76 can only be played online with other people. I liked before this edition being able to play offline and solo.

So sad to see this happen to a great game series

I don't know what Bethesda is thinking but why in the world would you have this be online only? It requires you to have Xbox live to play. That sucks. Not everyone can sit at home and play. I bought this to take on overseas deployments and there is not internet everywhere else in the world. So I really just wasted my money getting it. Plus you have to have Xbox Live to play it. Anyone who ever tried to cancel an Xbox live membership knows that it takes an act of God, Congress and a letter from the Pope to do so. So I will never get Xbox live just to play this. I am done with this series. Didn't Bethesda see what happen to Diablo when they had an online only game?

    GAME KILLING GLITCHES!!

Player beware. I am at level 30 now and the last 2 days have been back breakers. 1. I lost my home base! It was gone off the map. Turns out my Stash was intact as was my CAMP, but my fort with my building and all of my crafting stations, turrets, furniture, crops, etc.- All gone!! I read online that if a player builds their base in the same location of yours, you will lose it all. I did. Took hours to rebuild. 2. Now I am stuck in my power armor and cannot exit! This is a common problem- read about it online. I have not had it resolved yet and hope I don't lose my character. There are recommended fixes online but those too take hours of time to screw around with. Bottom line, you can live with minor glitches/inconveniences but not glitches that can completely change your play through. This game is not ready for public consumption.

Buyer Beware! I am a longtime Fallout fan and purchased the game to play in single player mode. Once I got the game home and waited the 2 days for the update to download, I was very disappointed to find out I couldn't start the game without XBox Live. I refuse to get XBox live because the internet here in Alaska is terrible, so I guess my days of being a Fallout fan are over. It would be nice if they would have put on the box that XBox Live was required for single player mode. It would have saved me a lot of time and frustration. I hope BestBuy will give me my money back.
