The game meets most my expectations
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did not buy the physical copy because it doesn't make sense to do so in 2018. I haven't installed a PC game via disc in years so this is a very minor complaint others have. Almost all AAA games are digital copy now a days. Even though the game feels rushed it still feels like a fallout game and I enjoy it for the most part so far. It has lore and a story but you can just explore and play with your friends if that's not your thing. My biggest gripe is trying to do missions with friends doesn't seem feasible since everyone seems to play at a different pace. I find me and my friends spread out in the wastes working on different tasks and different levels, but the upside is sharing loot/equipment and fast traveling when your friend is in desperate need of your help. The other biggest complaint is the stash limit but should be increased soon. Like any other Bethesda game it is riddled with bugs that will take some time to patch which I have good faith they are working on it. I hope in time they will add some features and address a lot of the complaints the community has. I definitely don't think it's as terrible as some people make it out to be and I've been a fan of the series since Interplay introduced it in 1997

Fun game, misleading product description.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far the game is fun, at least from what I gathered from the B.E.T.A. As a rule, I hate MMO games and this one wins the lottery when it comes to MMO. I actually had fun and I don't feel overcrowded with players thanks to the world features. I do think there is a lot of work to be done yet but I am excited to see it happen. There is no requirement to play with others and, in fact, you can get perks that actually buff you when you adventure alone. The product itself is misleading. The steelcase that came free with pre-orders, which has a separate product listing, is just the steelcase. I did not receive any artwork or materials other than what is printed on the case. The game itself isn't physical despite saying so. What the difference is, is that if you buy the physical copy, you get a nifty case with a pretty picture and inside some Bethesda advertisements with a piece of cardboard in the shape of a disc that has your product key. Let me be clear - if you were thinking about playing this without the Bethesda.net Launcher, you might as well have never considered it. Even with a physical copy, all updates and extra features will be unlocked via the launcher. Still, it is disappointing that the physical aspect of this purchase was so misleading. Not sure how one would "return up to February 11. 2019" if a product key is already used, but I'm in talks with Best Buy on seeing what is true and what isn't and will happily update this review. TL;DR: You still have to download the initial game which is about 60GB, and this does not come with a disc. The Steelcase that is sold separately now is nice but does not come with anything besides the case itself. It would be easier to buy a digital key for the game instead of the "physical" copy.

Great game. Ignore the haters.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A lot of people were expecting this to be Fallout 4:Online, but it isn't and they're being babies. The game has bugs, no denying that, but it is amazingly fun to play. People who say it has no story or lore aren't paying attention.

think about the elder scroll online but worst
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fallout 76 did the same approach as once the elder scroll did few years ago, no one asked for it but here we are, they deliver a game that feels in alpha stage, mixed ideas, and no content, really we could think about this as a game mode, I can't recommend this game in this state is more annoying than joy to play, you might find yourself wandering the first minutes something is gonna come up, sadly that's not the case. I feel bad for this serie, they are asking as much as a full fallout experience without put any effort, bugs are proof of that. I'll make you a favor forget about multiplayer or coop this game is nothing like fallout 4 if you haven't play fallout 4 that's the game you should get.

Let's Actually Review the Game Itself
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm dissappointed in reviewers not even reviewing the game. I did some research, and it was already known that the PC copy would require the Bethesda launcher and would not have a physical disc as it would be too large to fit anyway, and most people don't have a blu-ray drive. Anyway, this game is great, especialy with friends. The mechanics are similar to Fallout 4, but it would be unfair to compare it to Fallout 4, as this was made for online play. I think they've done a great job, and the building mechanics are wonderful. Everything seems more balanced, and I have yet to see any cheating online. Overall, I think they've done their best with this game. I remember how many people were dissappointed that FO4 didn't have any Co-Op. This is a great solution. The only legitimate widespread issue is that you need a constant internet connection, there is no offline mode. Also while online, there is little to no risk of PVP unless you wish to engage with someone.

BestBuy.com Lies
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's skip how unplayable this game is due to poor framerates and let's not mention how the graphics are far inferior to the previous Fallout games. Let's talk about how BestBuy.com LIES. The website states under the specifications tab in the product's description that the format is "physical," implying that an actual DVD-ROM is included in the box. This is not true; there is a download code for Bethesda.net in the package, and no "physical" media at all, including a basic instruction manual. I bought this using a gift card on BestBuy.com, so I'll never get my money back for this deceit. They gave me a steelbook case, which has nothing inside either, so I'm stuck with not one but two pieces of outright junk to throw away, and I detest having such waste on my conscience. DO NOT BUY THIS TURKEY OF A GAME.

Fun game with friends
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is fun, but getting brigaded by negative reviews that are fake or not related to the game itself. I would be wary of 1 star reviews. It's certainly a different take on a fallout game but most definitely worth experiencing with a friend or two. It's similar in style to Fallout 4, but with more lore/world building and better roleplaying elements.

Buggy, released too early.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First time trying out a game from the fallout franchise because I heard nothing but good things about the previous games. I have a high end PC that runs into a lot of issues running Fallout 76. I don't know if that's attributed to the horrible optimization or if the game is just that buggy. My screen will randomly go black at times in certain areas and I have to blindly navigate for a few seconds before it returns to normal. I can appreciate that the issues are at least being recognized by the developer, but my biggest gripe is them refusing refunds in lieu of all the problems that are present.

Bought Power Armor Edition, Bad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pro's The actual power armor edition has some cool items such as helmet, map, and little statues. Con's The game it self is horrible, just buy fallout 4 - complete game with a story. Fallout 76 is just the engine with fetch quest and annoying players.

Fancy Case No Game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been waiting for this day to come for the last few weeks since I got the Beta access, was really enjoying the game that I played. Woke up this morning and got the game in my mailbox, brought the package inside (still sealing) sat down in front of my PC and opened it up, the case is a nice steel casing, then I opened it up and well, it was empty. No game, no map, nothing at all a completely empty case. To top it off my local best buy doesn't have the game in stock, so I can't just go locally to exchange the game I have to wait for a reship.
