Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This game was extremely fun for the first 10 hours. Then it got kind of got boring. You do the same stuff over and over. Take over a watch tower, hunt a tiger, kill a pirate with a knife.

Fun - Easy to "get to become immersed"
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my first of the Far Cry series so I don't how it compares to Far Cry 1 and 2. But I'm fun playing this game, it's the free roaming of GTA style in a jungle environment. I even have fun just exploring and discovering all the little nothings. I'm able to customize how I kill people and animals, while also completing missions how I want to...so far, it's keeping me busy during my free time. And there are also lots of things to do aside from the main story missions. Nothing too repetitive.

Overrated

The story is horrible with characters that you don't care about. Please don't listen to everybody who says this game is great. I wish there were a demo available, so people can see for themselves without wasting money as I did on this game.
