I really enjoyed this. Some people compare it to Skyrim with guns. Eh, kinda, but not really. I enjoyed both games equally, but Skyrim is a much more massive game than Far Cry 3. Skyrim took me months to complete everything, and even then I had to play a new character to get different results from different choices. There's no choices that change anything here in Far Cry 3, and game is considerably shorter, even with all the side quests, which are all pretty repetitive. Map isn't overly large either. I give Far Cry 3 five stars and really enjoyed it, but it's not a particularly large game, especially if compared to Skyrim. Only took a couple weeks to go through it all. I did thouroughly enjoy this game though. Great game and mechanics. My ONLY complaint is how quickly it is over. Review: Great game, but short. Also, I wouldn't get for a tweenager. A lot of language and one inappropiate scene.

Game is fun to play and easy to get addicted to. Only problem is the color scheme, found it to be dark and blotchy in spots like trees.

After playing through Far Cry 4, I had to run through this one again. 3 Topples part 4 in almost every aspect. Never hurts to save some dollars for a better game.

A different take on first person shooters. Large open world to explore. Plenty of side missions to keep you busy for a long time.

This game is totally awesome. Now i'm a big Call of Duty, Battlefield and Medal of Honor fan so I wad looking for another shooter. Never even heard of FarCry but read the reviews watched some videos on youtube and decided to give it a go. Not finished yet but I think this is my favorite game now. It is so much more than just a shooter. You become part of this game, you feel like your inside the game itself. I found myself more on edge walking through the jungle than actually taking out badguys. You hear the dogs and dingos howl the tigers roar kimodo dragons hiss and you don't see them right away and YOU PANICK!!!! THATS HOW TOTALLY ENGROSSED YOU GET IN THIS GAME. AN AWSOME EXPERIENCE INDEED AND I'M NOT EVEN DONE YET. You must own this experince. Words really can't desribe.

Bought this game for $30 and it so worth it! I'm hooked on it and it's made me stop playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. The storyline is awesome and gameplay is easy to pick up on. It's always on sale now for $30 so just start looking for a deal.

I really love this game and would recommend that you go out and make the purchase. Picked this up on sale for the holidays and can't put it down ever since. Please give this game a shot I thought i wouldn't like it but i did!

This game has been non stop fun since ive started playing it. It has a very realistic feel.. I feel like im actually in the game sometimes especially swimming in the water fearing a gator or shark is gonna nail me.

This game is awesome and i feel a little more forgiving than the far cry's of the past. the fire is really awesome effect and fun to use as a weapon.

When I saw that this game was awarded one of the best shooters, I thought it'd play like a call of duty. Instead think of this as a hybrid between Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed. The single player is not linear where you have to keep progressing to the next room / location. This game provides you with a waypoint but you can definitely take a break before the next mission with multiple side quests. This adds a nice RPG element to it as you need to level up your gear and I understand why this shooter won this award.

Get this game you wont be disappointed! Its like red dead but in the jungle and first person shooter. I cant put this game down!

Far cry 3 has the action I love in a game. Great shoot em up game.

Great story and really pretty. It's interesting how the more powerful I became, the more the character and I enjoyed killing. Neat idea.

Amazing game, with decent split screen game play (something alot of games are forgetting now a days with xbox live being so popular). I love the free roam capabilities, however I think the leveling abilities you choose to take are kind of lame and could have been better thought out. Still a must have to any collection.

First one I have played. I like the story line and the ability to do so many things and it be an open map. I like the option of healing and crafting items and medicines, etc. Very cool ideas. Haven't played it too much but like it so far. Got it for a great price as well.
