Traded in Destiny for this and haven't looked back since. 44 hours played and still only 68% complete (granted I'm taking my time to go for 100%). Playing straight through still requires a significant undertaking of around 30-35 hours of gameplay. Key choices you make leave Farcry open for numerous replays without being boring. Great game.

The Far Cry series is one of my favorites, the only bad one was FC2. But this review is about FC4 and I'll keep this short and sweet. The game is a great single player experience, something that is becoming more and more rare in this multiplayer world we live in. Graphics are excellent and the game play is challenging, but always fun.

This was one of the best games, if not, the best game of the year for me. I was addicted to it and couldn't put it down. I really like how this is an open world game with a ton of side missions. I would play for several hours a day and I still didn't finish it for about two or three weeks after buying the game. Highly recommend it.

The graphics are amazing and I can tell the story will be too. It is very similar to Far Cry 3 in the sense that it is open world and there are towers to unlock and animals to hunt, but that is the franchise staple.

I was skeptical about buying open world fps games, but Far cry 4 has a very good story-line. An open world with great detail. Wide range of weapons. The DLC - Valley of the yetis is good too.

This game is essentially a reskin of Far Cry 3 with a few new minor features (such as new vechicles and guns). This isn't a bad thing, as Far Cry 3 was one of the best single player FPS games of last generation. However, if you're tired of that formula, give this game a pass. Otherwise, if you want more of that, or are new to the series, don't hesitate to pick this game up!

I had never played a Far Cry game before, so I went into this one without any knowledge of how the game was played. This game alone has made me want to go back and play some of the previous games that I missed out on, because it is absolutely incredible. The visuals throughout the game are consistently some of the best on the PS4. Content-wise, the game has a ton of things to do, all of which feels like it has a purpose in the world. The only negative that I can really say about the game are the stupid birds throughout the game. It sounds stupid, but it will get a little annoying as the game goes on. I will have just killed a Rhino with a cross bow, yet I am running into a cave to escape the clutches of a bird? The game encourages you to approach outposts and missions differently, as you can always attempt a no alarm/no damage, stealth playthrough. It's all up to you, and with so many other things to do in the world, you will likely find yourself getting lost in the world and finding yourself caught with many options of things to do, which is always great.

If you've played Far Cry 3, then you know what your getting into. There is lots to do, missions, side quest and extremely open. The great thing is now u can do it co op online with a buddy thoughout the campaign open world ness instead of a mission like structure in the previous installments. Great game!

This game has many good things going for it. It has excellent graphics, the game play is very realistic and requires you to really focus on the game when you are playing. Map is kind of confusing for a beginner but once you've been playing for a while you get used to it. The missions are challenging and sometimes you can get lost in the game. But an overall good game.

If I were to rate this I would give it a 98/100. I have played the other far crys as well and this one just destroys the previous ones. I was addicted to this game for 3 weeks in my quest to get 100% completion. I played it for 73 hrs. Any game that can keep me interested that long is a very good game.

Great graphics, great action, good FPS, you should give it a try.

I picked up FC4 for the PS4 and have not been able to put the remote down. This First person shooter platform was never my cup of tea, as a matter of fact i stayed away from all these platforms. After forcing myself to play FC3 way after its release, i caught the the bug just a couple days of playing and have been hooked on it ever since. I stopped at a few stores after FC4 release but they were always sold out. Finally i got it from best buy, used, and have not had a complain about the game. Killer grafix, tru sound fx(and even better when i stream it through my woofers), and the story line is captivating. Its been a long time since ive literally come home from work and go st8 to the game and play till bedtime. This game does it for me. Ive been jump scared, i have raged at the TV, and even laughed at the story line. Im sure you will enjoy the thrill just like i did and still do. Currently im playing the game in hard mode. Its a whole different world in this level. Great buy and worth every penny!

This has been the first game of the series that I've played. It's a pretty good game, I like the openness of the world and the ability to interact with the majority of the things you come in contact with. Having to climb each radii tower to open new map areas reminds me a lot of assassins creed.

I had heard a lot about how fun the game was and so I decided to pick it up. It instantly sucked me into a struggle between a powerful military and a rag tag militia. Next thing I know I'm flying off a cliff in a wing suit and hunting tigers rhinos and elephants. This game is great!!
