Love farcry and the series but this game is great! Wish there was a little more variety and/or added things to areas.

As a Far Cry fan who loved previous iterations, this game is a huge step down. This game really focuses on looking pretty but sacrifices the Far Cry signature gameplay and aspects of what made previous games in the series fun.

Play it or dont. Either you will like it or you will be left wanting more. For anyone that is a conservative, you will probably think of it as a not so subtle shot at those that like to prepare or believe in the right to be left alone.

I bought the game expecting a better experience. It seems a little too complex when it doesn’t come across as such. Could be better. May just not be for me.

Fantastic Game with a great story and beautiful graphics!

If you like single player, coop story and mission based, graphics, and something other than fortnite, definitely give this a go. Game looks amazing, handles well, and with XB1X and a HDR monitor the game looks amazing. Story and parts of in game scenery can be quite sadistic so if that doesnt bother you then try this game out. Arcade mode and coop are seamless. Can't wait for the rest of the content to be released. The helicopter you get with the gold pack is a little OP.... cuts the game time wise by a good 70% between travel and mission completions. If you want to truly enjoy the game, dont use the gunship chopper included with gold. Prepper stashes require some thought and aren't always freebies. Skill unlocks make sense and allow you to go in any direction at any time in the game. Have fun!

Ubisoft has been doing great over the past year or so with actually listening to community feedback to alter game design. This shows off particularly well with the changes made to Far Cry 5. The series was notorious for the way that a slew of busy work was thrusted into the face of gamers in order to obtain the weapon(s) or attachment(s) that they wanted to use; not to mention the upgrades or the ability to de-fog the map. All of that has been changed to finally allow the player to do things in a way that her or she wants to and at their own pace. Changes aside, the story was quite enjoyable and fairly enthralling from the onset. Co-op is a blast, often times literally, and the dialogue between NPCs is both natural and hilarious. The multiplayer function leaves a lot to be desired, but it was never something that was planned to be a major staple, it was simply tacked on due to demand. If you're a fan of the Far Cry series, open world shooters or just want something that's a bit different from the norm, I recommend checking this one out.

Great story line. Going to be hard to have to wait until February. I think I've played Far Cry 4 at least 5 times all the way through.. Awesome series

If you had fun with Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4, you'll have fun with this game. You can ignore Far Cry Primal, that game doesn't really have the same mechanics. It takes a little too long to set up the story, but once the game starts proper it's fun.

I am so ready to play this game. The map editor is going to be the best in the series.

I freed a hostage and he told me I had a kind face, then a wolverine ate his face. This is a great Far Cry game.
