    The blandest and generic Far Cry I have ever played and I have been a fan since FC2. Ubisoft has been rehashing the same formula with visual tweaks and packaging the same game every iteration. The series needs a new direction and fresher ideas. Gameplay and graphics wise, Ubisoft's CryEngine does set new standards.

    If you're a fan of the FarCry series, then this will be very familiar, which is both good and bad. I struggled to get engaged in the story and found myself trudging through the slow pacing of the story at points. Worth grabbing for $20, but I would never pay full price.
