My opinion, I really think this one has been the best out of the far cry series. Graphics are crystal clear and story setting in Montana just makes it beautiful combined with the music.

Same But Different

The Montana location is a nice change from the past tropical-like islands explored in previous games. It's fun to go fishing and take in the scenery. The story is a bit weak, but that's typical of FC games in my opinion. Even with the same general mechanics, FC5 feels fresh and graphically looks great, and I'm on OG PS4. Just get it.

Fun game.....but

The story is skipable, and believe me a skipped a lot near the end. The forced cutscenes in the middle of gameplay is infuriating. How that passed testing I’ll never know. It rips you right out of the game in the middle of the action, I’m talking half way through a mission, to give you some dumb pointless dream sequence. The writers of this game should never be allowed a keyboard again.

Far Cry is really fun!

I saw a lot of hype about and decided to pick it up. Needless to say it was definitely worth it. The open map and all the missions with side quests will keep you busy and entertained.
