More of the same? Yes. To a large degree, but thats a good thing. Solid game play, great graphics, and lots of freedom to pursue and complete the ton of side quests and main quests mostly in the order you desire. Anyone familiar with prevoius Far Cry games will feel right at home. One star held back for lacking anything revolutionary.

I had a lot of fun playing this game and the main antagonist was nuts. He was a great villain, but at the same time I felt a little sorry for him. In some ways the game felt a little generic, but playing the game was a blast and I am not usually into open world game play, but I may have changed over the last couple of years.

It's almost GTA-eque, but with better graphics and a cool storyline. I have been playing this game for a month now (few hours a day), and still have a lot to explore. I would highly recommend this game if you enjoy games like COD, Tomb Raider, Wolfenstein, Battlefield, etc.

Fun single game the story is good and grphics are nice

This is an excelent game overall. I have played every Farcry game that has ever came out. Farcry 3 is still my favorite game in the series but this is a very close second. If you can get this game for $30 or below I would suggest you buy it.

Far Cry 5 looks and plays amazingly, especially on the Xbox One X! I have played past Far Cry games but have never truly gotten into any of them until Far Cry 5. The plot line is amazing, the little side stories that aren't even part of the main story add in so much detail. Great game!

I got this for my father as a gift because he's a huge Far Cry & Fallout fan. He loves how open the game is, and though it has some unique differences here & there - it still keeps the essence of Far Cry. He speaks so highly of it, even I've been contemplating on buying it for myself.

Have played the Far Cry games before and enjoy the detail and action. Lots of fun things to do and usually great antagonists. Really enjoyed playing the the game but the ending was crap. I really enjoy the story part of these games and this was just awful. If you're more into the action than the story, it's a fun play.

I've been a fan of the far cry series since the third installment. This one is Definitely on par, or better than the previous games. Open world mayhem at it's best! Not to mention, the game offers hours of side quest and general exploration and discovery. Well worth the money.

This game is awesome! I put a lot of hours into this game and want to play more. Play on a Xbox One X with a 4KTV. You will be in awe of the graphics. Controls are like any 1st person shooter. I can't wait for the sequel Far Cry New Dawn which is out in February..\

The game is absolutely beautiful. It plays like most Far Cry games where you are liberating a place from an evil oppressor. I really liked the mix of computer-controlled allies you have access to. Although the game does get very repetitive towards the end I highly recommend it.

Far Cry 5 is off the charts, really good open word and lots to do in the game. Only one bad thing as you defeat the enemy territories you won't be finding any cult members trying to kill you. I have not used the online function yet but it seems pretty nice from videos online.

If you are a fan of previous entries in the series you will enjoy this game. With a plethora of activities to do, story missions to accomplish, and exploration to be had around the vast open world. It is easy to emerse yourself in the world and story of this game.

I like most of the far cry games, and this one is no exception. I’m enjoying it just as much! It’s an enjoyable first person open world game, the game mechanics are easy to learn and understand, and the graphics for the type of game that it is, are very good!

Caught this on sale, and gave it a try. Didn’t realize how much I was missing! Pleasant surprise. Great for those in between lulls. This game has been out 3 years or so, still a great game today!

This was a fun game but definitely not perfect. It was an odd game that is for adults only. If you like other games from the Far Cry series you will mostly enjoy this one although there isn’t anything that is really new.

I recently just made the switch from PC gaming to Xbox One X and this is the first Xbox One X enhanced game I tried out. I have to say that this looks amazing in 4K and is on par with my GTX 1080 and 2K gsync monitor. The visuals are great and the game play is addicting!

This game is amazing! It is challenging, has great graphics, and is so much fun to play! The music and surprises throughout the game are awesome. The graphics are extremely realistic. I think it's totally worth it, if you're wondering whether or not to buy it.

What can I say. Seeing that I live In Montana I had to check this out. The mai. Story is fun and the graphics are a+. There are never ending things to keep you entertained. Hunting fishing shoots out jumping trucks cars helis planes lol it will keep you busy for a while

The newest Far Cry has enough in common with the past games to feel familiar if you have been a fan of the series but it has enough new things going on to make it feel less like a repeat than some franchises. It's a great game with a lot of depth. Loads of fun.
