If you want more Far Cry, then this is just more Far Cry. Gameplay and exploration can be fun. However the majority of the NPCs aren't really interesting and after a short time the missions blur together. Dani Rojas is a great protagonist and I do like that the cutscenes are in third person perspective. Giancarlo Esposito is excellent as Anton Castillo but Dani barely interacts with him. The map feels too big and there are so many repetitive tasks to do. But if you want to wreak havoc and kill thousands of people with fireworks, CDs, and exploding sniper bullets, then this game can be fun for you.

This entry of the series changes a few mechanics for the Far Cry series. Keep in mind this is Ubisoft. A lot of RPG elements have been introduced. The good thing is that along with it, more customization items have been introduced. This makes the game engaging and entertaining.

This sequel is not just more of the same. There is a lot of the same, but there is much more. First the gripes: 1) Loading screens take SOOoo long. A modern game should not have this problem. 2) Overhaul to the weapons system means you can't easily switch ammo types on the fly. Remember having a bow that could shoot explosive, incendiary, AND standard arrows? Well, now you have to carry three DIFFERENT bows that are already equipped with these arrows. Good stuff: 1) Supremo packs are new change that mixes up gameplay a little. These will be like different loadouts for your gadgets. 2) Skills and abilities are now tied to the gear (clothes) you equip. I didn't like this at first, being used to the old skill trees. But it has grown on me. 3) Poison ammo is my new favorite thing. Makes enemies gag and turn on each other. All the poison gas makes for some nice fiery explosions too!

The graphics are great but the actual game is just not as good as they say. Alot of moments I felt bored. It could have been ALOT better.

I would highly recommend this game. I've played all of the FarCry games and this one is by far me and my families favorite.

Complex characters, on the edge of your seat storyline, a beautiful landscape, fun equipment, and weapons, great mechanics. What else could you ask for in a game.

Was a far cry from what I expected. Long periods between pull out scenes causing repetitive play and forgetting what the actual reason you you were on a mission. Hoping some good DLC drops make up for this flop.

Was a gift for my boyfriend who was highly satisfied with my purchase of this game. He had wanted it for a short while now and i got for a heck of a deal.

We have farcry5 and it's a great game. My boys took it home with them to their mom's and it didn't make it back to my place. So this was so cheap I just bought a replacement for me.

It became one of my lifetime game title. At first, it felt a bit similar with far cry 5, but it is still enjoyable.

Daughter was stoked to get this and play with her friends. Great game.

Bought this for my father inlaw who's retired and loves video games. He's a completionist so he's finished the whole game thru and thru and loved every minute of it

While I’m enjoying the game… it definitely still has the typical Ubisoft bugs. I would rate it a 4 if it didn’t. It’s not ground breaking by any means but it’s a fun game and the environment is incredible.

I see far cry 6 is loads of fun I dig the story some people don't like this game but I do I'll give it a 8/10

Bought this as a gift for Christmas and love it. Yes I gift myself. Have never played the previous games but it puts me in the mind of call of Duty from the POV.

Just a few hours in so far. Plays like your typical Far Cry game. I do prefer the skill trees rather than the new system. And i dont know why but this installment has given me a little motion sickness, while other games have never done so.

Awesome game! Just as fun as the past FAR CRY games. Changed the settings to hard and now its real difficult, but even more fun. Definitely recommend this game to others.
