In my opinion this is better the Far Cry 5. Like the weapons, villains, and game play. Still some great graphics!

This is a decent far cry game, but it is much shorter than most (the reduced price to compensate).

It is a great follow up to Far Cry 5. It is a direct continuation of the Far Cry 5 and I liked it.

This game was a nice bit of first-person action, albeit shorter than I'd thought it would be. Still, the voice-acting was top-notch. The character design was great. The stealth and luring mechanics worked very well. Tons of gadgets and weapons that are modified from household and gardening equipment. Overall, it's a great game.

I've played FC 3,4,5 and now playing FC New Dawn. I've seen a lot of complaints about this game along with FC 5. I was hooked on FC after playing FC3, but I personally enjoyed playing FC 5 more that the previous two. I'm about 1/3 into FC New Dawn and liking it as much as FC 5. It is not as robust as FC 5 but in a way that is good and really makes the game to me a little more enjoyable. If you liked FC 5 you won't be disappointed in buying this game!

This is a great follow-up to the previous game. Nice price for a game with a ton of stuff to do.

If you were a fan of FC 5 and If you can find this for $20 or less it’s an absolute buy.

First of all, this is not DLC, it's a stand-alone game, but it felt like it could have been DLC. It's not as long as the first game, but if you liked Far Cry 5, it's definitely worth picking up, especially with the reduced price. I would strongly recommend playing and beating Far Cry 5 first, as there a lot of references throughtout the game that will not make sense to you if you didn't finish Far Cry 5.

New Dawn uses the same location and many of the same characters as Far Cry 5. Far Cry 5 had interesting, engaging characters and an exciting story line. New Dawn makes the characters boring and shallow, and has a ridiculous story line that is transparently cobbled together to support moving the story forward. By the end of the game, I didn't really care who lived and who died. They totally left out fixed wing aircraft, one of the most fun aspects of Far Cry 5, and severely downplayed the use of helicopters. I will not be buying any more of the Far Cry series. They seem to have lost their creative touch, and are just coasting on the weapons and fighting mechanisms developed in earlier games in the series.

It is very fun, once you get into the story. Nice to see how some awesome characters have aged.
