Far Cry Primal is a much different change of scenery and pace for the franchise, yet it still works. There's a much greater emphasis on hunting and instead of shooting your way through, you are forced to build and craft spears and bows to deal with your adversaries. Anyone who has enjoyed the previous far cry games will like this too

Best game ever has a lots of great graphics and story best far cry ever

Same addictive Far Cry gameplay in a new, beautiful setting.

This was not a game I was planning on getting. I was interested in it. But there was at the time other games that I wanted and bought. So I got it as a deal of the day. Took it home. Started playing it,and it looks really good,sounds really good. The atmosphere of the game world is great. The game plays like the other recent far cry games. The thing with this one is that it's much harder because of the primitive weapons. There's also a lot more wild life. Lots more predators. So be aware always. There's a lot to do, and a lot of collectables to find. I think a lot more than the other games. So pretty much the game for was a very good purchase at the price of the deal of the day.

This is just like previous far cry games. It should feel different because it has no guns but it doesn't. It exactly plays like any far cry games. Same things to do like, capture outpost, bonfire and same type of missions. but I would still recommend it if you are fan of far cry game.

Pretty solid game, same type of gameplay as the last but different time frame. The weapons are cool and it has a good story. If you liked the last one you will enjoy this one.

The good - The graphics, the overall story, the exploration, no English voice acting - it's all subtitled The not so good - It's a beautiful world, but there's too much focus on combat. There are times it feels you can't go 100 feet without something attacking you.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this having never played a Far Cry game before. I didn't even realize it was first person which is a genre I generally avoid like the plague, but it was a great black friday sale so I figured what the heck. Short story is it is a terrific game. Gameplay is easy enough for someone like me and the story complements the gameplay very well. I can play for 45 minutes without any adverse effects (I can get dizzy in FPS type games), and I like the little campaign style touches a lot like randomly having the chance to save some villagers rather than always following the scripted storyline.

This game is my new favorite! I can't say enough about it. In my opinion it's better than the previous Far Cry games and it doesn't speed through the story like the others do. Would recommend to anyone who liked the other Far Cry games or to anyone who's debating on getting this one.

Far Cry fans may have to adjust to the new setting but will quickly enjoy the game. Hunting mammoths is really good. There are plenty of other animals to hunt as well. The prehistoric humans seem to react a little slow and almost don't appear to be human at all. Overall a fun game.

Very fun game! I have enjoyed all the far cry games but this one by far is one of my favorites. I was skeptical at first because of no guns or vehicles but they make it work! Story could be better that's why it's a 4 star but all in all great game!

Far cry in early times. Swap the gun for crafted bows, spears, and many others. Some nice ideas implemented not in others like your personal pet to attack and bomb threats. Tame over 10 types of creatures. Rescue natives and build your own villages. Large map and lots to do.

Farcry Primal plays almost identical to previous Farcry games, minus the guns and most other modern forms of fighting. The primitive feel of the game; the bows, throwing weapons, clubs, beast hunting and training, is extremely fun and appealing. I highly recommend this game.

Disclaimer: I expected very little from this game. I was surprised This was a great experience. The world was beautiful and sucked me in, the controls were mostly natural and the story was fine. Completely worth the 25+ hours I put into it.

The far cry series is a great series, and far cry primal does not disappoint. Great story line and huge map to explore for hours. Overall the game is a lot of fun.

This game is going to be awesome. Tigers. Elephants. Caveman. Spears. Riding on Tigers. Riding on Elephants. Caveman fighting Tigers with Spears while Riding on Elephants. There was a time when the world was actually like this. This is history in the re-making.

This was my first Far Cry game from the series. I don't usually like playing 1st person games, but this game is great. The concept of hunting, scavenging, and living in the Stone age is remarkable (Hats off to Ubisoft). The graphics are beautiful. The most impressive aspect of this game to me was the fact that we can control pre-historic animal and use them to battle. The open world is huge and beautiful. I would recommend this game. Its fun and difficult at the same time. Beware of bears and mammoths, those things are hard to shake off once they chase after you.

I'm a huge fan of Far Cry 3. I've solved it to completion twice, and about to do it again. With the slight let-down of FC4 (great graphics, but recycled material), my expectations were low for Primal. While I was not blown away with Primal, it was a solid experience. Although there were no guns at all in the game, the variety of weapons and different types of levels was enough to hold my interest. I picked it up super cheap, too. I would say it's worth buying at a discount, but not a full-on $60 value.

The game has a familiar feel to it. It will seem a bit too familiar, then you tame your first wild animal and go head to head with a grizzly bear. Okay, now it's starting to feel like a different game. Definitely enjoyable and highly recommended.

Like some others I was a little worried about primal's setting and no guns. I'm a big fan of far cry 3 and 4. But this game is a lot of fun and is much more than 4 with a new skin. They managed to still make the weapons fun without guns (bows, spears, clubs) and you have the ability to tame animals that help you take out enemies. There's around 15 or so you can tame each having their own special attributes. Story is somewhat on the light side but that's ok in a game like this because it's an open world with tons of stuff to do. Highly recommend.
