This game is very similar to Far Cry 4 but with a caveman arsenal of weapons. I found this game to be a great spin on the Far Cry series. The Game is very fun but not too difficult. I would recommend this game for anyone who likes the Far Cry series.

It's kinda like Farcry, but, only thousands of years in the past. Like the story and open world and choices that you make to create your own tribe from scratch by gathering resources and building projects while recruiting people with various skills.

The game play is cool and so is the open world style of the game. Story is average at best. It looks and plays a lot like Far Cry 4. I would recommend especially for those that like Ice Age period history items/animals.

A very intense and action pack game that is one of my favorites out of the entire Farcry line. A very entertaining adventure and large game play maps. I still have unopened territory, and I have played for several hours.

I'm a huge fan of the Far Cry games. 3 and 4 especially so. But this installment almost felt like a cheap knockoff with none of the qualities that made the other games great. It almost feels like a pre-release game to me that has a good concept and mechanics, but very poor execution. The world was big, but exactly the same everywhere you went. I didn't feel like there was any reason to explore. I think what makes the other Far Cry games so great is the weapons, customization, and landscape. Now I know this isn't supposed to be another "Far Cry" game, but the fact is, the ancient setting means the lack of anything interesting. There's not a whole lot of room for creativity when attacking enemies due to the primitive nature of very basic weapons. Riding beasts was fun at first, but it was more of a novelty that wore off quick, and wasn't any different from the elephant rides in FC4. The story is basic and bland, and I just never found myself engaged or immersed. Graphics are good (on par with most other modern AAA games), but the game also has lots of framerate drops as the consoles just can't keep up with the action in the vast landscape in games like this. My advice is to maybe get this game used for $10 if you have absolutely nothing else to play. A better suggestion would be to buy Ark on PC or XBone if you can, as that game manages to achieve 100x more than Primal, despite the fact that it is still in pre-release and has no real story,

The game is awesome constantly changing and the map is huge

Primal is a good game. Pros: The lack of guns in the game is more than made up for with animals you can deploy in the fight. Cons: Not much in the way of plot and entire game is in caveman language with subtitles.

My almost 11 year old son loves this game. The graphics are amazing. For those parents worried about the M rating (like I was) here is what I've seen. The gist of the game is taming animals and completing missions. There is some tribe on tribe violence but it isn't gory or drawn out. No swearing as they speak caveman language and the nudity rating is simply due to the fact that they are cave men wearing no shirts. Over all a good game for a mature young man. Always know your kids but for mine, he enjoys the game and its better than ALOT out there. Recommend.

The Uncharted series are some of the best games and this is next in line right behind it. This is a unique story line making me feel that I am a caveman fighting for my life. Graphics are realistic, gameplay is fun. Great job Ubisoft!
