I was pretty excited to get this game especially for the sale price! This game you can put a lot of hours into doing all the side quests if you want more than just the main quest. The weapon upgrading system is good although sometimes frustrating trying to find what you need. Lots of replay value here and great graphics make this a must play game!!

I didn't originally think I would like this game as much as I do. I love the open world games in general. And really liked the original Far Cry. This has been a lot of fun. I am about half way through the game and have gotten a lot of time in game. So it is a very long playing game so loving getting my money's worth.

I have played all the farcry games in the series and I could say that I'm not disappointed with this one in any sense. Always coming up with something new on every one of them. Graphics are great on consoles, the controls are great the play style itself is really fresh. Like every single detail of it my little brothers love it. Totally recomend it.

Having only watched people play Far Cry I was excited to try a pre firearm version. It is definitely entertaining for a long while but going for 100% trophies as I did gets extremely repetitive. Regardless the game has a great story and some interesting side quests. Definitely worth a go. Especially if it's on sale.

It's a good game, however I miss being able to coop with a buddy. Also I wish you could turn it to speak english, I know it's supposed to be the stone age, but I get tired of hearing the same grunting and words I don't understand to I have to read the smaller text towards the bottom vs paying attention to the game.

I was a little skeptical about Far Cry Primal. I had enjoyed the last two Far Cry games, but worried that this release would be watered down. This game turned out to be a lot of fun, though, and I ended up completing a lot of the optional content just because I enjoyed roaming the wilderness with my bow.

This game has some very intense moments and graphically looks great for the type of game. Animals looks very detailed and the challenge is good. Wish this has a 3rd person view but you wouldn't get the close up and detail so I get it. Stopped playing a bit through though. Not sure why, just lost interest.

Beautiful open world game, fun to play and challenging

This game has a fresh take from the typical Far Cry games. From the moment I saw the preview I knew I wanted the game and it didn't disappoint. TBH I cant even think of a game that's close to this. I gave it a 4 star because there is always room for improvement but Its defiantly worth playing.

This is a step in the right direction for the franchise. It still feels like farcry but the time period is much more enjoyable.

If you've played Far Cry before you know what you're getting here. This is that without guns. It's fun but there's not a lot of story to be had. Your character never speaks and there's not really a a great villain like you'd get in previous Far Cry games. Still lots of fun but lacking in certain areas.

i became very interested when this first announce because there arent many stone age games in modern gaming that i can named. i bought this game because you can tamed animals like wolves, bears, and saber tooths and they can follow you and fight along side you and i really like that idea.

I have not finished this game but am really enjoying it. I am new to gaming, really don't like games with guns as I am not quick and I find them sort of tiresome. Bows and arrows, spears, clubs, run and hide. A bit like Horizon Zero Dawn, which I loved. The graphics are beautiful.

Personally, I enjoy the Far Cry games (except for 2), and Primal takes it in a different direction which was a welcome change. Taming animals and more close up combat was different. However, the quests do get old quick and I believe they could have done so much more with the setting.

Ive been playing the far cry series since far cry 3 and every time the games get better and better. Far cry primal is awesome. I thought I wouldn't like the lack of guns in this game but who needs guns when you can send yoy sabertooth tiger to kill someone or your owl to drop a fire bomb. Hands down buy this game it rocks.

Its been a long time that I've actually been able to sit down and play a game for an hour or more at a time. Far Cry Primal puts you at the bottom of the food chain. The story line is good and I just really love the world. Its different. If your a fan of open world games and a good story. This would be one for you.

I've played the other Far Cry games and was hesitant to get this one due to the lack of firepower. It's actually a pretty good game. It uses different techniques do basically do the same thing, just different weapons.

Keeps the spirit of Far Cry, but the setting is different this time. Instead of guns and grenades, you use bow and arrows, clubs, and spears. But this is very much a Far Cry game - fun, interesting, but can get a bit repetitive with collectibles and side missions. Worth a play through.

... you will like this game. For me, Far Cry 3 is the high water mark. Far Cry 4 was good, but 3 was GREAT!!! I haven't finished Primal yet, but it plays very similar except no bullets. Sure there are things to throw, and bows but again this new dynamic makes the game good but not great.
