Far Cry Primal isn't as good as Far Cry 3 or Far Cry 4.

Shiuldve had multiplayer. Didnt feel like far cry for me

Its a good game but not the best in the far cry series

My grandkids like the game. Have no idea otherwise.

Game is okay. Got a little repititive after a while

I played through and it just was not for me to play

So my first time with a far cry game was the previous Far Cry 4 and I was absolutely blown away by the game play and graphics. The story line was very original and I was immediately hooked. Primal has a lot of similarities to FC4 in terms of game play and certain upgrades, skills, and tools. In FC4 you'd have to hunt certain animals for the skin or pelt to upgrade weapon holsters, bomb bags, and other equipment. The beauty of it was if you had to take down a tiger or bear, you had a whole arsenal of high powered sniper rifles to ridiculous machine guns. In Primal, you've got bow and arrows, spears, and clubs so hunting isn't exactly a walk in the park. Running around at night in Primal is dangerous due to predators and other wild animals. If you played FC4, you will see a lot of similarities and maybe at times you might think "jeez, I'm just playing a 10,000 BC version of FC4", but you'd be wrong. Primal is the best game I've ever played. It's intense, it's exciting, it's everything you want to feel with a video game. When I was a kid and I got a new video game, I couldn't wait to get home from school to play it. Now, I'm an adult and still play video games, but I'm not itching to get home to play my new video game.......until Primal.

I thought the game needed more action to it. I just couldn’t get into this game.

I loved the previous installment of the FarCry series, but this game was a major let down. The made up language was aweful and hard to understand who the difference between a tribe or a person. The story just didn't keep me interested in the game and the primal weapons didn't help with the game play of a shooter game.

This game is too big for not much to do and it takes work to not be bored.

Far Cry Primal is a huge disappointment. The map is extremely bare and the gameplay is very bland. I bought this game at $15 and I still feel as if I paid too much. If you want an enjoyable game, pick up Far Cry 4 or Far Cry 3!

Ok, First lets start it off by saying I have not played any of the previous Far Cry games. So I cannot compare to them. Couple of things i'd like to point out. 1) Do the first 4/5 main missions before you start trying the side missions - i wondered off to the side missions and found them pretty hard without a trusty companion by my side! 2) this game times time, you must be patient - but again advance forward on the main missions to make things a lot easier on you when you're out and about. Game play is sweet, story line is cool...there are some really trippy parts in the gameplay. Graphics are awesome, story line (so far) is great. Map is HUGE and i mean HUGE! In a sense its kind of like Age Of Empires but 1st person. You have to gather resources to build your tribe, fend off enemy tribe, attack enemy tribes, you get to craft weapons and learn new skills as the game goes and you find more members of your tribe, kind of like age of empires with a mix of tomb raider, but again 1st person! I would def recommend this game, be strategic about it! Lots of fun once you get going. I almost quit the game until i progressed more down the main missions to expand my character and his abilities. Cool stuff tho, glad i bought the game.

Not much to do in this game, seemed like a waste of time and money to me

Don't come into Far Cry Primal expecting an easy ride. Everything must be crafted and built, nothing can be purchased. The enemies are deadly and taming beasts makes you feel like the Alpha predator of Oros. While the game suffers from a lack of diverse weapons and constantly feeling overwhelm Ubisoft has done a fantastic job of capturing what it would be like to live during this period. It's violent, dark and a lot of fun.

I am a 52 yr. old female and I LOVE this game! These days it is hard to find games that you can play offline!! You can with this game. I am not big on games with Military or Guns Only, so this was prefect for me. I LOVED taming the animals and sending them off to attack. I love the nature aspect of it and hunting the collectable things. I love the prehistoric timeline and building a clan. Taming and Riding Mammoths and Saber-tooth tigers is awesome! I cannot say enough about the beauty, soundtrack, animals and FUN in this game. Ubisoft you out did yourself on this one!

Excellent gaming experience with DUNIKA engine 2 and graphics are better than FarCry 4.

Great gameplay on how things could've been way back in prehistoric times. Including weapons, clothes, language etc. Nice that you are able to you some of the animals from the time period to help as you go through the game

I've played all the Far Cry games and I have to say this is my least favorite. Yeah, its a good concept but I miss the exciting gun play/explosions of the previous games. Overall though, this is a fun game but I found myself getting bored quickly and switching over to black ops 3 or far cry 4.

Graphics are very good on this game. Many different weapons and things to choose from. Only one player.

Pre-historic Far Cry game that can be challenging at first but once you understand how to play the game it can be quite fun. I myself completed 100% of the game, and towards the end it felt like a drag, but since I was so close I had to finish it. Still doesn't compare to my past favorite Far Cry 3, but something worth picking up if it's on sale.
