Loved the game play.. Story line was easy to follow.. Control were easy and crisp

Fan of the Far Cry series and picked this up during Black Friday for $15. To me the atmosphere and the landscape is the best thing about this game. Really enjoyed the setting and the ability to control the beasts/companions in the game. The game is very simplistic with regards to mission structure, weapons and enemies. I didn't mind the simplicity and enjoyed knocking out the camps and progressing the story. The game seems like it could have been a $25 dlc for Far Cry 4, similar to what FC3 did with Blood Dragon. My big complaint with the game is that it could have been edited down with less cr*p on the map and made the story more focused. I kind of like the open aspect of the game and that you can pretty much tackle whatever you want, but as with most FC games, they look to fill your map with so many "side" missions that you don't really need to do unless you want the achievements or need some extra points for a few of the character unlocks, which weren't are all that great. I think they need to make a more streamlined adventure with less filler going forward in this series. If you like previous FC games and can snag this for under $25, I say go for it. Game has fun to be had for sure.

Graphics are awesome and it follows similar gameplay as other far cry games which is good. Would recommend waiting until price drops.

I didn't know what to expect when i bought this game. I saw that Best Buy had it on Crazy Sale (thanks), so I picked it up. I'm glad I did. It's different than your typical FPS, but it is still very good. If you like combat heavy, guns blazing FPS then this game may not be for you. If you like to think a little bit with your shooters, give this game a try.

I enjoy the game, it feels familiar but different because you can use different stone age weapons, tame animals and command them, also you level up and gain new abilities far cry style. I Highly recommend if you want to try something a little different. It is a nice breath of fresh air in this genre Hope they do dinosaurs next.

I've been enjoying this game quite a bit! It gets better the more you get in to it. The story so far is good, exploring is fun, taming beasts is cool, and the upgrade menu/skill tree keep me busy. Apparently the map is very similar to FC4, but it's been about a year since I've played that, so this feels fresh to me.

The game is awesome. I am drawn to RPG's with the freedom to play as I like. I loved all the Assasin's Creed games and now this Far Cry Primal is at the top of my all time best games to play. Excellent graphics, fight outcomes are all in your control and and I love the beasts you can tame and that they will give their life to protect you! Get it and enjoy.

It's a really cool game with a good story line and great graphics.

Being this was my first experience with the Far Cry series, I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. The graphic are beautiful and I really liked the time frame that the game was set in. Some of the mechanics felt a bit awkward, such as combat while riding an animal, but all in all it was a very entertaining game.

fun, steep learning curve and a little slow of the bat. but give it time, it's a lot of fun and the scenery is gorgeous

I bought this game because I thought it would be cool to tame all these wild/extinct animals. It was; but then it got repetitive. Almost all of the action got very repetitive, very quickly. The saving grace was the story and the vastness of the playing world. I thought the story was interesting.
