Simply put, "I love this item!" I live in the south and I enjoy gathering with family and friends during fall football events and enjoy cozying up to a warm fire. This Fahrenheit comes right on time as the fall season is here. I love the fact that it is smaller meaning it will transport and handle easily. Also, I feel it will be safe as it controls smoke. I am truly elated to have this product as I know it will create many "cozy" memories!

    Portable, but that means small

I love fall. Fall means football, tailgating, pumpkins, and fire pits! I have a good sized fire pit that I enjoy using, but it is a little bit of a chore getting out and putting back away. This has probably made me use it less than I want, but this is where my excitement for this smaller Farenheit unit comes in. Build quality, finish, and concept all seem pretty solid for this fire pit. You get a base and the burning "pit" itself. And that's about it. If they want to market this fire pit as ultra portable, I would really like to see it come with a carrying bag. Once you find a semi-level surface, place the pit into the base, load up your kindling, and fire away! It took me a bit to sustain the fire, but once going, I was actually surprised at the amount of smoke. None of my wood was wet and it all was ready to burn, but despite claiming limited smoke, I still got a good amount. There was enough smoke that I had to change seating positions a couple times. Not really an improvement over my regular fire pit, which is disappointing. Now the most intriguing feature of this Farenheit unit is also the most disappointing...the size. This fire pit is really not intended to use traditional wood. It says pellets or small sections of wood, but do yourself a favor and just use pellets. Now it's great that you can tote this pit almost anywhere, but I would REALLY like to see it be a couple inches bigger to accommodate large wood. All in all, it's a decent product. Just know it's not a replacement for an actual fire pit. This is more of a "I'm going night fishing and don't want to dig a hole for my fire pit" kind of product.

    Nice for small fires

Pretty solid firepit. Takes seconds to put together. It is on the small side however so not really ideal for logs. Best way to go here is wood pellets. Eventhough the pit rests on a stainless steel ring to elevate it, do not use on a wood or composite deck. It dies look nice when burning and gives off good heat for its size. I would recommend given the feasible price point.

This is a decent little fire pit that produces less smoke than a "normal" fire pit. The Farenheit is relatively portable. The larger top portion sits on top of the smaller bottom portion. The bottom portion can be stored inside the top portion for easier transport. I have a lot of experience with smokeless fire pits. I'm highly allergic to smoke, so the smokeless fire pits have been a huge positive addition to my life. The small size of the Farenheit immediately grabbed my attention. The small size is a hindrance, though, to the fire pit being as close to smokeless as its larger brethren can be. That's unfortunate but not a deal killer. The smoke is greatly reduced and, due to the design, tends to discharge pretty much vertically in anything other than strong wind. The shallow depth can make starting a fire a bit more challenging in windy conditions. And, of course, you can't use your regularly cut firewood because it will be too long to fit. So you need to use either pellets or smaller pieces of wood. If you're new to fire pits, please also be aware that green wood (wood that has not aged at least a year after being cut) makes more smoke than seasoned (wood that has aged at least a year after being cut). And you will make a lot of smoke if you have wood sticking out the top. Of course, this type of fire pit does not produce the horizontal warmth that a more traditional fire pit does, but they do give some some radiant heat. All in all, the Farenheit is a good portable option. It is not as smokeless as larger smokeless fire pits, but it does a very good job for the size. While the size makes it very portable, it also creates compromises about the wood you can use and the effectiveness of the smoke-reducing design.

    Sturdy and Heavy Duty

My first impression of this fire pit is that is sturdy and looks like it will last me a long time. It's a two-piece fire pit. You cannot bbq (I don't think they sell accessories). You can however enjoy a firepit outdoors on the go (beach, camping, backyard) without leaving any mess. The fire pit is made out of steel so be careful not to hit yourself in the shins as this is heavy-duty material like I did in setting up the firepit. Due to the size of the firepit, you'll have to correctly measure the charcoal and logs. It is recommended you use wood pellets or small logs. I should've gotten a bigger firepit, but there are some advantages of being a small firepit: Mobility and clean up. After the fire went out I waited until the firepit cooled down as there are no handles on it so you'll have to use your hands to actually pick it up (not recommended during or after the fire goes out - Wait for cool down). I like this fire pit because I can take it to camp or the beach, but when I think of firepits I would like the capability for cooking something under the fire (accessory grill attachment). I just feel this is too little for my needs. I will definitely be using it at the beach or backyard social meetings. I would not recommend it due to price.

    The portable firepit you need

Fire is essential to survival. This product just makes it easier to carry the ability to safely contain and keep a fire going. I never really paid attention to the spirit it brings to a gathering. Winter is coming and where I live it tends to stay on the far side of the weather spectrum regardless of it being winter or summer. The summers are hot here, having a permanent fireplace doesn't make sense. How about the ability to put it away? This keeps a small fire going while you talk around it or decide to stick some marshmallows on a stick for some s'mores. That's what we did. This is the addition to any family outing that you didn't know you needed. Now we randomly decide to take it out and just start a fire and cook outside (grill lays on top and nowhere does it say you can cook with this but I like pushing things). The air flow is amazing so it can really get a fire going that's low maintenance. There's nothing like getting in touch with the side that nature tends to bring out. I highly recommend this.

    My New Favorite outdoor Activity

So I built a spot in by back yard over the weekend to keep with Fire pit portable if needed. I was gonna make a stone area around the pit and make it permanent. But I'm sure glad I didn't. It works very well with open air set up and the mount I made was pretty cool. Cinder blocks base that allows air flow from the bottom. I used small seasoned wood i had. burned so nice and kept going for much longer than just open air burning. Wanted to try pellet but decide this was gonna be the better option since I already had fire wood. The overall bowl color stayed stainless steel and I love that I can clean it out and store it inside without taking up too much space. Do not use on wood or deck material as the base gets hot also. You can use hollow blocks or solid blocks. Make sure you make the base solid before putting a fire on.

Recently moved to a new location (in Pasco FL) where outdoor burning is allowed. I was going to create a fire pit for some family fun and was trying to figure out the best way to do it. I figured why bother with trying to create the perfect fire pit, got some nice bricks (different colored ones) and arranged it in a 180 pattern and i use this fire pit. It is great as it offers easy cleanup after, is designed to get the wood burning very quickly with little need of expertise and lessen the chance of catching myself or others on fire... This thing is great for my needs but there is a larger one too if you prefer. You still need to watch out for embers but if your doing it right and burning wood thats not an issue! Enjoy, I know I love it.

This is a good small footprint fire pit. Great style however it is a bit small than I would like. Great for a small patio or deck or if it warm and you just want to make s’mores over the fire
