Switched over from Canon and this camera really delivers. The menu is a little crazy and you really have to play with the camera. The images are clear and bright. You will need to take some time for the learning curve. Sony does not make everything seemless, but like all new things it will take some getting used too. I am excited to have this camera and if your thinking of going pro with a mirrorless, this is the best camera to start with. I caught it on sale and I'm glad I made the purchase.

It’s not a Gmaster but it is a nice little lens for the money. The images are sharp and it works pretty great on my a7iii

I initially "settled" for this lens because I was leaving for a trip and didn't quite have the funds for a Zeiss 55mm/f2.8. It turns out, I didn't settle so much after all. I love how easy this lens is to use as I am no professional. It is small and compact and fits well considering I have the small Sony a5100. I recommend this lens for those who don't want to spend to much due to lack of experience; but, it is a great investment.

cannot change the zoom setting but very good once u get the hang of it, high quality from afar

Very nice lens shows good detail for landscape pictures. I prefer to use on manual focus as sometimes the auto focus is slow.

Best starter level lens to experiment with. Performs great in well lit conditions. Low light is good too.

The lens is not sharp enough but save my day at final moment. Spent only 190$ for this lens and it turnout to be a good lens.

Good price for a Sony prime. A little louder than I would like when focusing and not the fastest kens around. Image quality is excellent.

Good entry level 50mm lens. It’s a prime lens and a bit slow, but you can’t beat the price for the f/1.8 and a nice bokeh.
