However, the auto-focus capability is dismal. It is adequate for static shots in bright light. When trying to capture a moving subject in AF-C, MANY of the shots will have missed focus. There is quite a bit of hunting as well in low light. I would skip this lens and save for a better 50 or 55mm lens.

The lens is sharp but it will often hunt for focus while using the autofocus. Also the focusing motors are LOUD. I ultimately returned this lens because it was hunting for focus and the motors were so darn loud

Thanks for this feedback. There could be reasons why the lens is hunting for focus. Your subject may be getting beyond the lens' minimum focusing distance. It could also be that there is not enough light when you were shooting. We'd like to hear more about this and also know what camera you were using.
