Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the image quality, price, ease of use, low light performance, weight, and size of the FE 50mm f/1.8 Standard Prime Lens. Many appreciate its affordability and how lightweight and compact it is. However, some customers note that the autofocus could be improved, and some have mentioned that it produces some noticeable noise. The lens is generally well-regarded for its performance and value.

Not so good lens. The focus issue is still there. Would not recommend for street photography. You get what you pay for. Switched to 40mm 2.5g lens

This is the first lens I got for my Sony FE mount camera and I couldn't be happier with it for the price. There are lenses that focus faster but not anywhere near this price.

This lens is primo on the a6500. Its lack of image stabilization is a non issue on the a6500 since the camera has it in body. It is buttery smooth and a high value portrait lens.

Got this for my A6300, might be the most inexpensive option for a 1.8f prime on the E-Mount. Gives me the depth of field that I've been missing without going to my Full Frame DSLR.

This lens creates the nice blur in the background for portraits which is what my wife needed. They're better lenses out there but for the price of this one you can beat it.

Ordered a open box and it was literally not even the right lens. It was labeled as excellent, no damage. This lens had a bend in it, scathing all over it and was clearly someone’s old lens. I have used the real lens before and it works very well for the price however the GMaster is just miles above this one. However with price you can’t really beat this lens.

Really enjoy shooting portraits with this lens. It's definitely a little overpriced compared to Canon or Nikon's "Nifty Fifty" lenses, but I'm still happy with the purchase.

I was looking for a compact and wide lens for travel. This one had descent optics but was too noisy when focusing.

My go to lens when I dont have much space to take portrait shots. It gives a nice soft bokeh which makes portrait shots really nice. Expensive but its worth it.

Most of my lenses are EF mount, so I decided to get a native lens in case the ef fails on me. This one is light, fast and accurate.

This is an amazing lense. I'm new in photography but I have to say you cannot go wrong with this one. Worth the price, was a bit slow to focus but I updated the software and now it works a tab bit faster.
