This is hands down the best lens I've ever purchased. Super fast autofocus and clean sharp photos. The details it captures are insane. Highly recommended.

Can't beat this lens for the price.

Don't take my word for it, go on youtube and check out some reviews. It's been an amazing lens. I tested it back to back to back with the Battis 85mm f1.8 and the G master f1.4. The f1.4 is clearly better but its hard to tell any difference even pixel peeking between the Zeiss Battis and this Sony 85mm.

Best Purchase I made for the A7III

It's sharp and the functions work flawless with the A7II. The custom button on the side is handy. The size and weight also goes perfectly with the sony mirrorless camera. I would definitely buy this again.

After watching countless reviews and comparison videos online, I was convinced to give this lens a try and I could not be happier with the results. This lens is tack sharp and for $600 it is easily the best value you can get for a lens. The auto focus is amazingly fast. There is not enough good I can say about the lens.

Sharp and Light

Bigger than a standard lens but smaller than the GM and lightweight too. Used for a couple of shoots and it always did the job great lens for the price.

If you are looking for a portrait lens, this is the best one you can find in my opinion. The 85mm gives you enough zoom to not be right up in their face but not enough to feel out of place. I was contemplating the Sony F14 but I feel like this one gives you better bang for your buck.

The lens itself is light, it's fast, quick to focus, and the side button is programmable and makes it easy to focus on your subject. I've paired this lens with the Sony A7c and the pictures look great! Tack sharp! I highly recommend this lens!

Great value portrait lens

These lens is very sharp and provides excellent portraits in door and outside. The focal range is a bit tight so consider the area were you are taking pictures. You will have to stand back from your subject to get full body portraits, great for head shots.
