10/10 for the price

The bokeh (F/1.8) is magnificent on this lens. If you have a cropped sensor (APS-C) camera though be prepared for it too shoot closer to 100mm, you will want this for far away shots. Don't get this is you want to take photos of people near by in my opinion. Not a professional at all, just a guy tryin to take photos of random moments in our life.

Excellent all-around lens

I bought the 85 mm version as an upgrade and couldn’t be more pleased. It’s a great lens for shooting portraits, or I use it to shoot sports, specifically basketball because it is so fast. While it’s not a wide angle lens for basketball, if you’re able to anticipate or focus on one area, you can get extremely high-quality photos. I shoot sports all the time and this is one of the lenses I use now regularly.

My favorite E Mount Portrait Lens So Far

Exceeds my expectations. Very sharp. Great color reproduction. Great bokeh if you care about that (almost no one actually does.) Eye AF and great autofocus in a lightweight package.

This is a killer lens for photo and does very well in video too. Despite the lack of oss, I would still recommend this for video. Just throw it up on a gimbal and you're good to go. I was shocked though at how amazing photos turned out, and if anything this is a great photo only workhorse and stays in my camera bag.
