Fast but very loud
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace an old Office Depot brand shredder that was great. This one is much faster (7 sheets vs. previous 5 sheets one) but it's extremely loud. I also wished it would run a little bit when switched from reverse to forward to help clear out paper shreds. It only runs when paper is inserted so you can't clear out jams by running it forward. I could switch back and forth from reverse to forward on my old one to help clear out paper shreds. Gets the basic job done but I'd look for a quieter one as well as one that can run forward a bit without having to put paper in.

Good Shredder

This is a small product but its very power and really, I really like the clear plastic view on the bin. This is a great personal home shredder for beginners.

Stopped after less than 2 minutes running
