    I used this shredder for less than five minutes and it died. I waited for hours, followed by days to see if it would work again, thinking that perhaps it overheated and needed to cool down but had no luck. I got a replacement (same shredder) but haven't used it much thus far. I am hoping the second one lasts longer than the first.

    Must lift heavy top to empty bucket.

    Returned item since the heavy unit sat directly on the bucket. To empty the bucket one would have to lift the heavy top. Since this was bought for an 88 year old this did not work out well.
