Customers value the Powershred W-11C 11-Sheet Crosscut Shredder's ability to handle various materials, including thick paper and cards, and its ease of use and compact size. While many appreciate its affordability, some customers noted that the noise level could be improved. Concerns regarding overheating and occasional jamming were also raised, though these issues did not appear to be widespread. The weight of the shredder was also a point of discussion, with some finding it too light and others too heavy.

What can I say about a paper shredder? It shreds very well, even cards and thicker paper. If you're looking for a shredder, look no further than this one!

I've been looking for a paper shredder that is strong enough to shred anything include credit cards, a small package of papers and this one does it all. The heavy head unit can be cumbersome when trying to empty the bin, but it includes a handle for easy mount and dismounting the unit. Overall, great power shredder for a reasonable price. Well done Fellowes.

I had another old model Fellowes shredder and it worked good for 12 years so I bought this model because my old one died. The only thing that worried me was that the First one I was shipped died 20 minutes after I received it so I sent it back and got a replacement and so far it is working Great.

Shreds fairly quickly without too much trouble. The bin is large enough to hold a fair amount.

Great shredder but two minor complaints 1) very loud 2) wish it had a bigger basket.

The product works as described. I've had it several months now and I have had no problems with it. The safety lock works fine w/o being obtrusive. The only complaint I have is that when I lift the shredder unit of the top paper shreds they fall on the floor. But this is a problem with most all shredders.

Not So Sure Yet

I just received this and it worked just fine the first day. But the next day, I discovered that it wouldn't auto start. I checked to make sure that the shredder head fitted well on the basket and it still would not start. While it would go in reverse it just wouldn't auto start. After jiggling the buttons back and forth or blowing the shredded dust from the head, it finally would start. I believe the sensor eye gets blocked with paper dust and can't see if paper has been inserted or, this is a defective shredder. I'm a little disappointed because Fellows is a good company. My kingdom for an American made product.

Obnoxiously Loud

This shredder may work well based on what other reviewers have shared; however, the shedder is piercing to the ear. The shredder is louder than my vita mix blender. As a result, I am returning the item before even trying it out. For the price, I would have expected it to be quieter. I would rather pay a bit more, and purchase a shredder that is quieter.

Fair shredder.

This shredder works fine insofar as you do not shred any more than five or six sheets of letter bond at a time, plus, at times, the paper access mechanism seems inconsistent, thus having to feed paper only from one side of the opening. And the worst feature of this model is the shape of the bucket by being to small and light weight at its bottom in relation to the extremely heavy top mechanism.
This "cone" shape light bucket makes the whole shredder tip over if you are not careful when moving it, or emptying it. It reminds me of the cone shape cups that tip over at the dinner table. So, for all the above I no not recommend this Fellowes model al all.

I read my manual when I received this product-supposedly there
was an on/off switch located on the back. Mine must have been
made on a Monday or Friday-cause it's not there! But I did figure
out the trick to make it work-you have to put it in reverse, let it
grab the paper then turn it to on & you are good to go. It works
fine after that. But if you ask me if I think this product will last
me very long-my answer is definitely NOT!!!!!

Too small for the price

This shredder was way too small and the idea of having a very easily detachable shredder top is mind-boggling. I felt It was going to tip over when I first used it! I returned the next day and got a much better printer from the same company!
