A friend ask me to check this show out so I bought it and was not disappointed. well worth the time to watch

This is a movie that needs to be added to anyones collection. The actors are great and the movie is awesome.

I would say from an acting standpoint this was one of Denzel's best performances after Philadelphia and Malcolm X. Nice to see him in a role different from what he normally does.

Denzel did a great job directing and acting. His portrayal was a reminder of what life was like in Pittsburg in the late 50's and 60's. Viola Davis was fantastic as his wife.
